Retired as a mechanical engineer after 30 years, got my CDL, drove a semi for 6 months with my SO, we bought a straight truck with a big sleeper and now drive for FedEx Custom Critical. Having a ball and seeing the USA and Canada! There are a lot of manly women truck drivers out there!
    Hugs and kisses,

Used to be a machinist before I was downsized out. Never saw any female machinists but there were some in engineering. But now I am a custodian. There are quite a few female custodians. But those gals do not know how many more wear panties to work. And I do not think that I will tell them. Unless they show me theirs.

I get dirty everyday, out in whatever mother nature decides to throw at me, and I still wear what I want under my winter coat and Carharts. High tower work, greasy enclosed spaces, high voltage electrical, all types of equipment and machinery. Very manly except when I go to seminars and find that many of us are GG's (and not your masculine types either). It is a changing world and I am not afraid to say mine is no longer a manly occupatiion.

I work in the environmental arena. I deal mostly with water treatment, wastewater treatment and to keep it interesting I deal with the occasion hazardous material site. Some gg's in this feild but mainly in the labs or admin part. I've had a couple of ladies work for me over the years and they were good at their jobs.

Electrcian, I work out side year around. Always wear pantyhose under my coveralls realy warmer in the winter. I had a bad fall one time and drove home took off my lace panties and then drove to the hospital myself.

    manly jobs

I work in the environmental business, too. Bidding and managing jobs. Spend a lot of time driving around and meeting clients. Lately started wearing panties most of the time.

Firefighters ran in the family, always wanted to be one since I can remeber! I worked with some female f.f.'s my feeling is if they are to do the job, then why not! I have worked with male f.f.'s that should not have been there!

    electrical engineer.

I'm an electrical engineer, not really manly (until the power supply catches fire) but seems to be very male dominated.

Karate and judo as hobbies (thats more where I worry about being outed.)

Chemical Lab technician here, some of those chemicals are really hard on the nails and skin. Keeps taking off my clear coat nail polish. Most of the labs I've worked in were pretty much 50/50 .

Retired from the Department of Corrections. It was a macho job when I started but now there are many more women in the field. I don't know that there are very many gender specific jobs left.
It takes a real man to wear a dress.

    No offense meant!

How about Resource Planning Analyst - means I figure out how many people we need to hire and when. There are 12 of us in my company, 2 of us are women (and I don't know how many wannabees). I spend all day staring at Excel spreadsheets...

    rather not say

I'd love to say what I do but I'll beat around the bush a little and say that there are a few who've replied that do the same things as I as far as a career goes. I don't underdress though at all.

I used to be a lifeguard, one of the only jobs where you're required to be topless, so it comes off pretty manly. But now I'm a teacher, which is a very female dominated environment.
