im in home remodeling/construction. Very rough on the body and lots of heavy lifting
Machine design engineer and prototype fabricator. Electro-mechanical genius.
Retired electronics technician in the Coast Guard. Not many females doing it at that time. Only worked with one in my 20 years. After retirement, went back to school and got a degree in automotive technology. Turned a wrench until I was offered a job with the U.S. Postal Service. Now, I don't get quite so grungy and get paid better for it.
Amy
im a plumber too......which means you gotta be careful wearing the lacy, silky panties with our "plumber-butts" showing.....but i have managed over the years and have only "been discovered" once while on the job.....luckily it was while working in a gay males house and we ended up having a wonderful conversation about my cd'ing
construction,heavy equipment, truck driver.
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]Tammy and me, not your usual couple
:JoanMerrie:Yes I admit it I'm a trans rabbit.

Work in the manufacturing sector in plastics with hydraulic presses, BIG ones! Lots of big steel molds weighing up to 3 tons , forklifts and lots and lots of wrenching... ditto on the bad for nails

May those that love us, love us. Those that don't love
us may God turn their hearts. And if he can't turn their
hearts, may he turn their ankles, so we'll know them by their limping.

I can't say what I do, I'd lose my job if anyone found out about Dana. However, no woman in the world does what I do. It's not an attendent in the Men's Room either, LOL.

I am a firefighter, and do part time A/C work on the side, and live/work on a small farm. Weld, hunt, fish, wrench, ride a Harley......
I think now days there isn't too many gender spacific jobs out there. females do just about everything a guy does.
Kymmie
I am a Sr Software Engineer, but in a former life, I was in Military Intel and worked for the CIA for 8 years.
Another Firefighter here.... I think that makes four or five either current or retired firefighters. Two questions to other firefighters-
1. Were you always drawn to being a firefighter or was it because you wanted to do something "manly" in an effort to mask or avoid the crossdressing?
2. How receptive were you to genetic female firefighters? Did you encourage them or did you subcumb to the peer pressure of demonizing them?
Locomotive engineer. I drive trains. Not many women, but more and more are starting every year.
Car painter and Bodyman/woman? in a car restoration shop. No chance to dress at work!!
Former police officer (current law student), never brave enough to wear my panties to work. If I was too fearful of getting caught, the first thing to happen to me if I got hurt would be to cut my pants off. Although now as a law student, I am making up for lost time....
I work in a female-dominated service industry. I've often wondered if that's been why I've gravitated toward femme things.
General contractor here. I do almost anything!
I work as a designer. One guy in my office (works for me) knows I dress. He saw the lace of a cami sticking out from the bottom of my shirt one day. He likes to look. Sometimes tells me what color he would like too see the next day. And I am happy to oblige.
Hi,
I work in my own machine shop...sometimes dressed up under my shop coat.
Great fun!

I'm a retired associate professor of marketing, emeritus. Taught 40 years at a University, two of may students became CEO's of major firms. Aslo spent 10 years with J.C. Penney, part of that in management.
Among the girls I know who have transitioned, I can straightaway think of two in the Royal Navy, one the British Army, a police officer, one crane driver in a large steel plant, several working in machine shops (including one owner of a light engineering company), a trucker, a roadie working for a high-profile rock band, a plasterer working fulltime on construction sites (serious respect)...
