Probably like many of you, I chose my name a long time ago, in the infancy of my CD'ing. At the time it sounded like a good idea, because I was into all things frilly and girly and such. However, as time goes on, I'm no longer a spring chicken, so I'm thinking of changing my femme name to something more appropriate for my age.
That's the advantage of being a CD'er!
Emily sounds a bit too prissy missy. I'm thinking of changing it to something a bit more exciting... Maxine, for example. It has a certain ring about it, Max as in "going for the gusto", and the "ine" part that adds the feminine flavour.
I'll probably have to look up some more names, but for now that's what I have found.
How many of you have changed your identity based on the discovery of a new name?
