Thanks for sharing Babbs. This is something I never would have thought of happening as I sometimes change in the car too.

In my experience, I have never seen published logs that include police checking on someone that turned out to be doing nothing wrong. Most of the time, they publish the incidents of actual crime, in order to inform the public.

Cops log everything; that's a major part of their job. There are no supervisors who tell them to remove something unless it would hurt them upstairs and could never be revealed; that possibility is nonexistent, so it doesn't happen.
It is unlikely to be revealed as doing so would violate policy in most police depts., but keep this in mind; policies do not have the force of law and can be changed at any time on any whim of the dept. head. They would undoubtedly be changed back, but there would be collateral damage in the meantime and you could fall victim to it.
ALWAYS plan for the worst, then you can be pleasantly surprised if something else happens!

Im curious ladies.
Why would you need to change in the car? or want to ... is it because you significant other doesn't know? The times I would dress up to go out, I made sure it was a situation that I could get dressed /undressed at home and have no problems . Granted driving a car cross-dressed is risky enough... but yes to me getting dressed in a parking lot is asking for trouble...
I was already dressed just no wig make up or boots or boobs yet. never once was I naked or in undies alone.
Gloria, you must be pretty much out of the closet with your wife, family, neighbors and coworkers. Leaving the house completely en femme won't work for me or other closet dressers. I have neighbors that know members of my family. I don't find driving en femme to be much of a risk unless someone like my boss recognizes my vehicle and by some fluke can tell that the woman driving is actually me. Putting on makeup etc. in the care shouldn't be a problem either. I've seen women put on mascara while they're driving! I wouldn't recommend that!
Leaving the house underdressed and doing finishing touches in the car works out OK if it's done right. Babbs has revealed a caveat which turned into an informative thread.

actually no im not out of the closet no one really knows except for a few close friends ... I guess I just don't want to risk it with family and coworkers .. If I don't have an opportunity to "safely" dress or if there is a risk of getting caught
I just wont do it... with that said I don't get to cross dress to often so was just curious for the need to do it in the car.
thanks not trying to judge anyone
I have posted many times of the danger of dark, secluded places for crossdressers for this very reason and the chance of being attacked. When the police see anything out of place, they investigate. That is their job. Park in the middle of the parking lot near other cars. Stay out of shady areas where drugs are sold or used and stay out of areas where prostitutes do their business.
edit: Let me answer the question about why someone would dress in a car in a parking lot.
We may be out to our wives but many of us are not out to neighbors for many legitimate reasons. Career, reputation, standing in the community, etc. Arguing this would be a seperate thread.
Unless we are set up to dress, get in the car in a garage, and have dark tinted windows on our vehicle, there's no good way to leave the house and drive away without the chance of being seen by neighbors. The neighbors can only assume that we have had a female visitor or that we are crossdressers. And of course, we have no control over the situation when we return home. A neighbor may be waiting for us at the door.
So - We either have a place away from home to dress or we dress in the car.
I hope this answers the question.

I am pretty sure that you will not have anything to worry about.
I had a similar event take place just about a year ago. January 18th 2014....way to start what turned out to be a VERY hard & long year.
My GF & I were out and about, when suddenly I am getting pulled over. To keep a super long story as short as possible, I was in what I call 'mixed mode or blendin'g. Toes painted & flip flops. Makeup, just 'natural & subtle', wearing capris, kind of pulled up to appear more like shorts & a bra under my male tee shirt, w/o forms (thank GOD). Well she asked me "TO STEP TO THE BACK OF THE CAR" sir. I thought she was goint to ask me if i was wearing makeup, or worse frisk me & then discover by bra. I standing at the back of my car & another officer (male) walks up. He asks how i am doing SIR/ i advised not to good.
In the end NOTHING was said about my clothing, the make up or my toes. But to this day I remember the feeling of fear that set over me.
Chalk it up to a routine shake-down. you're sitting in a secluded corner of a parking lot, they just wanted to make sure your intentions were not nefarious. Quick check on the computer, no priors, you're good to go. No harm no foul.
I had a similar situation happen to me. But I noticed the cop pass buy and left the secluded parking lot. Only to have him pull me over in a very busy mcdonalds parking lot ? Should have stayed where I was lol)2 more cops soon arrived on the scene.
I was very concerned. The officers were very respectful. I asked about the report
They told me it would say I was questioned as a person of interest in there daily report and nothing more
Needless to say I learned getting changed in a seculed parking lot is not the best idea
Don't get too worried.
I've been breath tested by police when dressed and had license check. Once I've had them ask for a second piece of ID to prove it is me (I think I produced a credit card). One of the police officers I know from my "male" life, I look after his dog. Still do. He gives absolutely no indication that he has any real interest.
Frankly unless you are in an extraordinarily conservative sleepy town then "guy putting makeup on in car park" isn't really going to rank a mention in the polices shift report. Trust me, they have a lot more serious problems to deal with.
