Exclamation Can u dress too much?

I find myself a bit overwhelmed at the moment. Trying to finish 2 stories I've already shot while organising three complicated new story shoots!

I'm falling behind on my business responsibilities and I'm trying to reorganize all the crap I have at 3 different locations.

Then, of course I have a weekend outing to prepare for ever week or two. If I could just forget completely about Sherry and dressing I could get SO MUCH DONE!

    Any other CD's relate?

U can't keep doing the same things over and over and expect to enjoy life to the max. When u try new things, even if they r out of your comfort zone, u may experience new excitement and growth that u never expected.

Challenge yourself and pursue your passions! When your life clock runs out, you'll have few or NO REGRETS!

    Sherry,
My life doesn't seem as complicated as yours however I do find that if dressed while at home, although I know I have drab things I need to get on with, changing back can get delayed longer than perhaps it should. I then find myself trying to squeeze my drab jobs into less time than they ideally need.

As it stands it's manageable but I do need sometimes to be firm with myself and focus on getting on with my drab life.

Being 24/7 my answer would be no. Doc, hoping it never comes to you giving up Sherry.

I will admit that my dressing does sometimes takeover.
There are certainly things that should be done that get pushed aside because I would
rather use the time for dressing. But life is short. Does it really matter in the big picture
if those things get done today or tomorrow. As long as you are enjoying the best life
you can. Isn't that what really matters. If you would rather dress than get out and
paint the fence. So what, Enjoy your time.

If things are really important they will take precedence.

    Just my thoughts.
my sister's reply when I told her how I prefer to dress

"Everyone has there thing, all that matters is that you are happy, love what you do and who you do it with"

If I gave up the internet I would get more done than if I gave up wearing dresses.

When our daughter was attending school out of state my wife would visit her for seven to ten days. It was femme time 24/7. Having been limited to femme time on a daily basis of six hours while she worked I just found myself fully attired all the time. I did all the in-home chores but neglected any outside chores or tasks that needed to be done.

    Doc ... simple solution.
    Let Sherry do the work.

As to dressing too much. Not me, I don't see that ever happening.

Not having much time to dress, I can?t over do it at this point. Once in awhile I might be dressed fem and it keeps me from doing a task. As it is, I do so much around here that that makes little difference. Now if my wife became accepting, that would be another issue. I would have to balance the dressing and I might find it difficult.

Presently I spend more time thinking about dressing than actually doing it. Planning, dreaming, etc keeps me going.

Yes, I can relate. I recently took a new job that requires more time. I too am falling behind on my business responsibilities. Last Wednesday, I dressed for the first time in several months.

I can get so much more done if I didn't dress. But then, there are always the YouTube rabbit holes.

No, you can never dress too much. I seldom wear makeup other than lipstick, so dressing in female clothing takes no more time than dressing in male clothing. Especially when wearing a pull-over dress. That takes less time, if you don’t count the time needed to choose the perfect outfit for the day.
What do I do on days when I don't crossdress? I have no idea.

    Can "u" dress too much?
No. I wear dresses all the time. The last time I wore pants (trousers) was 2024 late September to my mother's funeral.

I've read many posts here about dressers who put on a maid's outfit, Cheryl, and it motivates them to clean the house.
That only makes me want to get my camera and do a maid shoot. And, Sherry'd never intentionally get her pretty clothes dirty!

I would put u in more of a trans than CD, like me, catagory, John. I expend so much time and energy each time I dress I have a very hard time dressing more than once a week!

docrobbysherry, please take a look at my signature block.
For me to dress en femme everyday, I simply put on a dress.

Once already dressed I have always problem to leave the female mode. I would stay for ever if I only could. Feeling too good.
If it makes you happy / It can't be that bad
If it makes you happy / Then why the hell are you so sad?

You can never dress too much Sherry, I often found myself slacking on my work responsibilities when out of town on business trips spending so much time dressing after a while I incorporated crossdressing with my work spending hours doing computer work in my hotel room dressed as a lady traveling on business I also saved most of my phone work for the 200 mile drive back home while dressed hands free of course. Like others have said try to include dressing with work whenever possible.
