I love pink, don't have nearly enough pink items in my wardrobe, but what I do have make me smile every time, there is just something lovely and feminine about a soft pink for me

I love pink panties. I wish Vanity Fair would offer their lace nouveau style in pink.

I have pink and hot pink in both men's and women's. As Doc noted, I can put on 3 pink things thinking they'll match, and they're all different pinks (grrr). The hot pinks seem easier to match than the pastels.

I've gone to work (construction) wearing both pink and hot pink racerback tanks with matching socks, the only comments I've ever gotten was if my socks and shirt match (regardless of color, apparently that's truly a girl thing!), but no one seems to mind the pinks. Of course, at work I'm wearing cut-off jean shorts instead of matching schoolgirl miniskirts (I wish!)
    Life is short

I do like pink. But it comes in second to the lovely pastel shades of purple - lilac, lavender, etc.

I have a great bright pink sweater (jumper) that looks great with my denim skirts or jeans. I have a fancy(ish) top with pink in the pattern that I wore with a pink fascinator to a tea party. I have some pink socks. I LOVE pink! This inspires me to get some pink tights for the coming cold weather.

Yes! I am definitely drawing to the color pink. It represents absolute femininity. We are programmed to think this way from birth?blue is for boys and pink is for girls.
As teenagers in the 80?s pink Polo and Izod shirts were popular and acceptable for men and boys, I couldn?t do it, my programming was too strong.( I did have a pink skinny tie)
Fast forward to the crossdressing me, I have several pink panties, tights/stockings, garter belt, bras, skirts, blouses, couple of dresses and bathrobe

I remember women swooning over Robert Redford wearing a pink suit in the movie The Great Gatsby made in 1974. He looked great.

    Pink looks good on everyone.

    Char,
Yeah, Miami Vice and that time period included a lot of pink and pastels. Pink isn't exclusively feminine, but there's a sense of liberation in claiming it in and out of it's fashion seasons. That won't make sense to those who haven't felt a need to camouflage in 'male' colors.
To be loved but not known is comforting but superficial. To be known and not loved is our greatest fear. But to be fully known and truly loved is, well, a lot like being loved by God. It is what we need more than anything. ~ Timothy Keller

I absolutely adore pink lips and nails, but my bras, stockings and heels remain black.

The first time an ex-girlfriend and I had sex, she put a pair of her panties on me for a bit of fun. She had no idea at the time that I was a CDer. The panties were plain cotton with a little bow at the front, and they were pink.
I wore them the entire next day, with her permission.
Since that time, pink panties have been special to me - and I have always bought and owned at least one pair of plain cotton, pink panties.

Holly, that experience would certainly burn that memory and desire into ones soul. I can certainly see why you would keep a pair ever after. I know I would do the same!

Yep, I agree re: the lips & nails. Blush on the cheeks. Things like that.

But other than a few things here & there in the wardrobe? Not much in the pink department for me!

I do like pairing it with black, though.

Yes, Pink is a special color, powerfully feminine and forbidden for men.
I have a beautiful pink dress that I wear with super soft pink panties, matching bra and half slip.
    Wonderful joy, indeed....

I don't know where you live, but pink is not a forbidden color for men. They sell pink shirts for men where I live in the US. I've seen them on display in Europe.

If a man chooses not to wear a certain color because he thinks it's "forbidden", that is really their preference, but it's not forbidden.

Sadly only a few pink items in my catalog. I am fairly light skinned and am now wearing my hair in natural color which is grey/white. The pink color is overpowering in my opinion. I do like it but not my best look.

I'm a diver and much of my dive gear is hot pink. Fins, rash guards, BCD (diving vest), and many accessories. I'm very easy to spot underwater

Yes, agree, forbidden is not the right word. Thanks for the correction from char GG above.

About a hundred years ago, pink was for boys and blue was for girls. Then, for some reason it switched. Pink used to be considered a very masculine color, because it was the color of blood. (Perhaps people were anemic in those days.)

I used to wear all black to the dentist. When the dental technician commented on it, I mentioned that I had a lot of pink outfits as well. She challenged me to show up in pink next time I came in. Of course, all of my pink outfits were skirts, tops and dresses. I considered showing up in a pink dress, but I eventually settled for a pink velour track suit. She was suitably impressed.

Oh yeah, prettytoes, sometimes visibility is important. My phone cover is hot pink. Everyone else in my household has a black phone cover. They are always looking for their phones. Not me. The hot pink cover is easily visible all the way across the room.

What do I do on days when I don't crossdress? I have no idea.

Cynthia, I was thinking about that very same thing. How pink used to be a man?s color. Now its hard to imagine. How easily society can dictate such things.

Personally as a CD, I do love pink as well. Of course like most or all colors, the variations are many. Hot, dark, magenta, I love most of them. They are not predominant in my fem wardrobe however as there is so much color to choose from in woman?s clothes. Oh sure there is some in men?s clothes, but you really have to search it out.

I even have a pink purse. I have not dared wear it in drab mode as of yet however, unlike the black or brown ones. Not quite there yet for me.

When I told my wife about my dressing, for whatever reason she refused to buy me anything pink. I don't know if her seeing me in a white bra or a pink bra made a difference. I guess pink is much more feminine. The surprising thing was a few months later she buys me a pink bra and panties set.
