Had to get a CT scan due to recurring pneumonia - twice in 7 weeks. This is getting old.
BUT, the CT scan report had one piece of info that got right to me.
Here is a copy/paste of that section:
"...tive changes. Symmetric mild gynecomastia."
Well, that settles it!

Susann - congratulations on your diagnosis! Hopefully your gynecomastia will only become more pronounced.
In July I had a cold that morphed into pneumonia which then morphed into a three month long respiratory infection. My doctor prescribed a steroidal inhaler (Alvestro) that helps keep a cold from getting down into my lungs and turning into bronchitis or pneumonia and a nasal spray (fluticasone propionate) that is supposed to flush those little remanent virus particles out of my sinuses so I don't keep having recurrent colds/sinus infections. This has worked for me. I won't say "Ask your doctor if blah di blah medication is right for you", but you might see if they have a strategy for ending the cycle of recurrent infections.
