    World Tranny Events

We come from all over the world, and in each country there are special events in which we can participate, or in which we dream to participate one day... National holidays, conferences, seminars, special interest outings and meetings...

What are the World Tranny Events?

I'll start of course... Halloween in the USA, which is gaining momentum in many other countries too.

Hmm, 139 views and zero posts! Did I say something wrong? Perhaps the word tranny was poorly chosen...

I was thinking along the lines of Southern Comfort and such...

Well, some of those 139 views are mine - I keep looking in to see if I can learn anything! I've no idea what the scene is here in the UK and what events there might be. So I look in every so often to see if anyone has posted something interesting. Sorry not to add anything relevant to your question. I'm gonna keep looking though...

Well Emily, Halloween is perhaps not the same in other countries as it is for you - the US seems only really to have really exported 'trick or treat'?

Mind, there's Up-Helly-Aa, in the Shetlands, which has a similar tradition (and may have been the origin of some of the US customs)?

Sarah - in the UK, the biggest trans-specific event is Sparkle, which I gather next year will be in July? The Transfandango Ball has sadly folded, now, but there is usually a trans presence at all the various Prides (the pink 'tank' drew a lot of comment at Manchester last year ).. And there's always the Harmony and Beaumont Weekends which have become well established in the annual calendar?

North of the border, there's always the annual Hide n' Sleek weekend?

Thailand obviously hosts a lot of events, but 'each country'???

Many places can make life very uncomfortable, if you are trans..
