    Where do I hide mine?

I hide mine in a duffel bag hidden in a corner of the garage. Sigh.

I did have a locker for a year at a transfriendly business called Carla's in San Jose, CA where I was able to properly store my precious items but I ended up only managing to get out there twice in a year. With the money I spent per month, I could've just bought a new outfit each month.

What a lot of different and interesting places for you girls to keep your secrets. Thank you all for responding and revealing yourselves. Floor boards, duffle bags, rafters, gym bags, ceiling tiles, gun cabinets/room, barrels, suitcases, musical intr. cases, and more. Wow. Someone told me they hid their "stuff' behind the air filter in the central A/C return ducts.

Thank you all for letting me in on another of your secrets. It would seem that your clothes should look wrinkled and frumpy after being "manhandled" but they don't. Thanks for sharing.

the funny thing about hiding things is that after several years of marriage I realized she never put away my guy stuff after doing the laundry. she just piled it up for me to put away. so, i feel free to keep my femme stuff anywhere i like, she isn't going to bother them.

I'm still living with my parents at the moment but right now I just hide my stuff underneath regular clothes in my dresser. No one goes into my room except for me so there's no risk really. Before I moved five years ago I used to do the same thing but was caught a couple of times. Luckily my parents don't think that I do this anymore.

My wife knows but does not approve. I used to keep things in plastic bins and in a gun safe but I have accumulated too much and worry about my teenagers finding out. To solve this I recently built a 2 ft wide, 4 ft tall, 6 ft long wardrobe with locking doors and top that allows me to keep things protected and safe. It is on casters so I can easily pull it out and slide it away. I keep it in the basement amongst "the rubble: so it is inconspicuous. My wife knows what it is but I made it out of the concern she expressed for the kids finding things. It is working well

I keep my clothes locked in our basement underneath all kinds of boxes. I also have clothes boxed up in my parents house, 1,400 miles away.

Before we were married I "hid" kept most of my things in my drawers with my masculine clothes. That is how she found out when helping me one weekend doing my laundry and putting it away when I was at work. She had to open the drawer to find them. I still keep my keep my things some mixed in drawers, wardrobe, and closet with male items. And other items just in separate drawers or locations near my male clothes. You could say hidden in plain sight. Only a few items separate and up on the top shelf in boxes like wigs, breast forms, corsets and some other miscellaneous things and extras.

they are all in my regular drawers and closets (yes I have two). I live alone, so it is not an issue. Soon I will have a person renting a room. They are just going to have to deal with it.... which is a question for another thread!

I used to put my lingerie in lingerie gift boxes, jewelry in small boxes, and my heels in the boxes they came in and hid them above the dropped ceiling in the basement. Since the laundry room didn't have a dropped ceiling I could get access using a small step ladder and place my things between the floor joists. My dresses, skirts, blouses, wigs and makeup wear neatly packed in larger boxes and kept behind the furnace. A place my wife had no reason to go near nor did she want to go near there.

I now live on my own so I can hang my dresses, skirts and blouses in the closet and I have a dresser for my male clothes and a chest for my lingerie, jewelry, belts and breast forms. I now have two 3/4 length coats, my heels are on the floor in the closet, and I have a large makeup bag as well as a small one that I also keep in the closet. My purse is there too. Two of my wigs I hang on the headboard of my bed and the other ones are in a box with other clothes I rarely wear or don't fit.

I am so concerned about my clothes that I try to fold them, etc. without even one wrinkle or fold anywhere! And then they get put away carefully. My guy clothes, who cares! Toss them in the drawer.

Because I'm not out to my wife or family I have to hide everything. I hide my Joanne things in plain sight. We have a stack of boxes of books and work related stuff in the garage and one of them is completely packed with my girl stuff. I only keep what fits in the box so I'm constantly getting rid of old stuff when I buy new things. Someday someone will open the box and I'll probably get found out. But I've purged many times over the years and I'm not going to go through that again. I'd love to be open about this side of me but I can't take the risk-

When I used to hide my stuff, what little I had back then, it was in this box that a torque converter came in. It was on the high shelf of the closet along with other boxes of junk.

Now since my wife knows and has for some years, I don't hide it but I do keep it put away nicely in the closet. I don't have like heels laying around all over the place.

Some of my makeup I still hide cause she likes to "borrow" it.

Never hid from my wife, but...

my parents when I was young I would hide it in the back of a large guitar speaker cabinet. It was screwed down tight!

From my son, I kept everything in steamer trunks in the basement. However, even that's not necessary anymore because he knows, so now I've got my own basement closet full! Yea!!!

I rent a tote at a local transformation shop to store my girl stuff. They have a great room to change into, and out of, girl mode. They also have lots of new and used shoes and clothes to borrow and purchase, a make-up table, space to just hang out. I have purchased lots of stuff, including boobs, right there. It is really great and works perfect for me.

Hide stuff? I guess I just hang stuff in back of the closet (when company comes over).

Underwear drawer, no way would I hide that. If someone is looking there, it's their problem...

She knows and is ok with me wearing hose, so those I keep in the bedroom. The other stuff is locked in plastic tool boxes in the basement. It's a major hassle to bring everything upstairs to pick out clothes.

I have hidden my stuff in the side of a duffel for a long while. Cleaned it out when my GF moved in. Now, I'm thinking about restocking and just keeping it all in a duffel under my bed until I move out of my parents'. Thankfully, my SO knows about my CDing now, but she's only about 350 miles away right now

    Storage room

I rent a storage space in a place close to my office and to the airport. I have access with my code 24 hours, and every time I travel (Which is often, at least three four times a month) I go and pick them up from there.
It is cheap (At least much cheaper than buying clothes every time I travel), and I have access to my stuff at all moments.
It is the best investment I have made...

    Hide?

Fortunately we have two bedrooms more than we need so Carla has a closet and dresser in the second guest bedroom. Works out great until Christmas when we have a full house and we use all the space we have. For a week in December all my outfits and makeup are packed up in boxes in the garage. But 51 weeks out of the year it’s all in (and on) the dresser or in the closet in “her” room.

    Hi

I've been doing this for 40 years and I've determined that there's really no 100% safe place but... I have my own closet and I still fold them up in other clothes like sweat shirts etc. I have soooo much make up that I just have to stuff it behind other folded clothes in a make up case. My blouses and skirts are on hangers under suits and coats. The art of hiding it all I guess is part of the fun but it's all close at hand when I need it to be my real self. Marla XX
