My S/O knows and is okay with it so I have two enormous drawers full of undies, a third full of very kinky stuff and boots, and a few dresses and jackets in my wardrobe. Its great being an adult eh? all my teenage years my stash was in an old computer box under the bed behind loads of stuff.
Peace through superior dress sense..

no need to hide things NOW as wife knows all about my CDing.

When I was a youth however... my hiding skills were not the greatest, at first I just borrowed (from sister and mothers dressers) and put back (by way of the laundry basket)when I was done, then got brave and took stuff to keep which I stashed conveniently in my own dresser drawer underneath all my other stuff. It was almost immediately found by 'mom' and taken away. As I got older, I just borrowed and returned, or just left it in the room after I wore it. (Usually stripped down and went to their rooms and wore their stuff there and stripped before leaving). Then when I came out to Mom, she approved and gave permission so no need to hide anymore and haven't bothered hiding it since.

Someone once told me "Put on Your big girl panties and deal with it". If they only knew, I WAS ALREADY WEARING THEM.

I wear the bras and panties so my wife doesn't have to.

Hi Paige! For years, I hid stuff in the attic in strategic places that only I would dare to try and get to......it required walking over the up-ends of 2 x 12 boards that framed the ceiling and supported the roof. Subsequently, I stepped through the ceiling a couple of times so I had some fast-stepping explaining to do. I also had a rental space at a mini-storage for awhile as my collection grew. I even had a post office box near work where I could pick up things I had ordered or won off of Ebay. All of that sneaking around, lying, secrets and making up stories blew up in my face when my wife found out. What a huge waste of time, effort, energy and money because none of it prevented the inevitable. After counseling saved our marriage, I now keep stuff in my closet and in the attic but out of reach and away from our daughter. (The attic being kinda scary to her keeps her out of there for now at least.) LOL

Love and hugs,
Lisa

I keep my clothes in a 28 gallon tote box.. or most of it.. every now and then I put everything in there to make sure it all still fits.. and every now and then I want most if not all of my stuff in there when family visits.. I try to keep it at that level of amount.. the reason?? I guess I want to feel like I can control the amount I have..
This is what I mean by "every guy can look like a girl from the right angles".. this is one of the first pictures of me dressed up.. very vague look.. almost fem...

I keep everything under lock and key in a steel case. If a girlfriend or family member asks, I say that it contains archived research paperwork, which at one point it did. We all have secrets, and as far as secrets go, this one is not as serious as many others I've heard about.

Does hiding from my parents count? My girlfriend doesn't care and knows I'm transgendered, and actually went into the relationship aware of it.

Am I too young for this forum? XD Not saying y'all are old... just married and on your own.

I used to "borrow" my sister's clothes and stick it under my bed... but one day my mom found the clothes and that was no fun to say the least. Now all I have is a pair of girl's pants and a purse. I don't really have to hide the pants, as they look like my regular pants from a distance. But my purse, well it's behind my open closet door which really probably isn't a good hiding place... but if they find it I'll say "It's for my girlfriend!"

Andrea, you must have a very large steel case, as you have lots of lovely clothes.

Back when I was hiding them from my parents, and brothers I kept them in my old footlocker with a padlock on it. I don't have to hide them now, she knows and is okay with it. I keep them in my underwear drawer, and in the rest in my wardrobe.

I don't have any fem clothes of my own except a few 100% Pure Silk panties and tangas. These I keep concealed at the bottom of my pile of my male underwear or sometimes in my business portfolio that I keep locked. Because they are pure silk, after use, I handwash the panties and tangas while in the bathroom for shower and hang them for drying in a safe place in my study. It has never happened so far that my wife has found them.

I don't have to hide them from my wife, teenage kid is a different subject. Everything's hidden in plain sight. Right side of the closet is mine, left side is hers, the middle is "ours".

When Susan can't play anymore I just pack up her things in a suitcase and put it in the closet! I know secrecy for some of us CDs is important, but what some of you girls go though to hid your real selfs is beyond me. Getting your clothes out is more work than getting dressed!
I will forever and always be Susan....

I Just knew that this subject was covered before so you all can ignore my post on this topic. I should use the tools that are available here to search out questions before posting. Sorry. For me I have a display case with a hollow center and every thing fits in there real nicely.

I don't have any clothes of my own yet... There's nowhere in my room to hide them and my parents are always in and out of my room. I have no privacy.

Hiding out

I have a small duffle bag in my car that is to her designated as work stuff since I travel a great deal for work. There is where shoes and other things live. She is also not so curious that she will go through the bag. I keep panties, stockings, hose, bras, and other things mixed in with my drab stuff. I do the laundry in our house so I am able to not worry about her seeing what I have worn that week that needs to be washed. I get home before she does, so bras, and hosiery that I won't dry in the dryer are put away before she gets home.

As I think of this it would be far easier to just let her know and not hide it anymore. I just feel that we have so many other marital problems right now to work on that this would be not be the time to approach it. I also have a teenager at home, so things need to be kept hidden.

It is not always easy 2b.Lauren!

I do not need to hide my clothes from my SO. I wear her clothes whenever I feel like it, and she wears mine (allthough she is not a cross dresser herself. Most of my shirts are band shirts, and she occasionally wears a pair of my boxers to bed.)
When I lived with my parents though, I had to try many different things. At first, I just kept them (along with some other stuff) under my bed. My mom found those, was very disappointed, but because of the other stuff she found, a couple decks of Tarot cards and a small bag of marijuana (which I think my mom smoked), she didn't even mention the few clothes I had. Then I moved everything under my bed, which was eventually discovered. The next time I put them in a box, and burried them with dozens of magazines. That stash was never found, but I ended up throwing all my clothes and makeup away when I moved in with my girlfriend.

I keep my things hidden in a box which is is under my printer, you have to take the printer and stuff off the shelf, before the box can be moved. My shoes are kept in three boxes on a high shelf in my cuboard.
A bit risky if she gets really inquizative.

I am amazed at many of the answers that have been posted to the original question. Such ingenuity!!
What I find a little sad for many is the stress that apparently surrounds you when you do dress. I wish you could all be relaxed and be able to take your time without worrying about leaving your cosmetics out or finding changes of clothes easily.

You all have enlightened me again. Thanks for your response.

Great tip

I have a closet in my bedroom dedicated to Monika.
It`s not locked or anything so if I have people over for parties and stuff I stack up a bunch of guitarflightcases in front of it should someone try to open it for whatever reason

That stress is probably the #1 reason I told my immediate family I crossdressed, some years back, 93-94.
