    All dressed up and pretty

I find great relaxation in dressing and I love the whole experience -from shopping to applying make up and I love the attention sometimes from either the sales lady or the seamstress!

    Let's see.....

I feel happy, relaxed and nervous at the same time, pretty, feminine, demure, passive, and serene. Also, I get a sense of correctness, that somehow, I'm as I should be, that a mistake has been corrected, and that all is as it should be. That's not to say that if I were actually female, that I'd be parading around in dresses and high heels 24/7, but let's face it, when the opportunity to be femme happens, many of us take it to an extreme for the small amounts of time when we get to exist in that genre. I absolutely love wearing dresses and all that stuff. So when I get to dress, I tend to dress up. And that makes me .....well, all the stuff I said at the beginning.

Any money found in the laundry is MINE!

I agree with the sentiments of Deja. I never feel "pretty"...the best I can hope for is that I don't repel people. For me, the clothes feel "comfortable" and "normal". Ok, I do like the buttons 'n bows...but that's just closer to the real me.

When I dress (especially if I feel pretty (I don't always look it) or I happen think I look reasonably cute) I like myself so much better. I do feel more confident but I guess my overriding emotion is "happiness". I'm never sad when I'm dressed. I also seem to be more relaxed, and nothing seems to bother me (even if we're late getting to where we are supposed to be going) usually in boy mode I hate being late. Excited? .... umm ... sometimes. It's not a sexual excitement though it's more of a "little girl in a candy store" type of excitement :D

I feel a thrill all over, all of my senses are in overdrive and I feel astonished at the change I see. It's a good change and I feel the freedom of expression for that time.I can truly say that this temporary secret place is euphoric for me.

I always feel very relaxed and calm. As so may others have said, it helps to relieve stress.

    Hello Arianna!
I feel great. Happy with my outfit, happy that I'm going out somewhere, feminine, pretty, put together and I usually have a touch of nervousness in that I'm going against the grain and could have consequences.

When I'm dressed the way I like it, I do feel more relaxed. And it helps me to deal with my depression better. Sometimes, like when I'm out at a Tri-Ess meeting, I want to do more. I want to learn to do make-up. I want to learn how to wear press-on nails and to look as pretty as I can. But something keeps holding me back.

Quite a bit of nervous excitement.

I have only recently started getting out and about, having spend the last few decades deeply in the closet. All dressed up means heading out the front door

I feel happy, calm, Fem, excited, nervous someone is going to show. Sad when everything has to go in a box. wow think about it hormones all over the place. emotions going like a roller coaster. You see if you have all these emotions going you are more girlie than manly after all.

When I'm dressed I feel sexy and femmine and feel so comfortable as Jennifer and now that I'm Jennifer full time I threw my male self away and enjoy my new person that I always wanted to be.
