Still, change a few pronouns and this situation does describe more than one situation I have seen people live through, live down.
In those, however, it was a "guy-living-as-a-girl" part time while living with a guy, a "roomate" for all public purposes. Usually this was a "stay at home gal" thing with the other guy working full time to support them until they could live their real dreams.
Wasn't "Dog Day Afternoon" based on a true story? So, who knows about the "whole truth" of this, or, what parts were changed to protect them from thier partner who is on these same forum sometimes?
The thing to be aware of here is the notion of being "compromised." If someone thinks they are, and acts stupidly to protect it, they're pretty much stuck with the entire ride unless they can get out of it.
Not always an easy thing to do since life does not have a "reverse" button...
Meanwhile, so long as anyone can open a thread here on the general page, and splash this kind of stuff in front of us, about all we can do is deal with it "as if" until it gets moved or goes away.

If I push "quote" then I get the entire message quoted in the reply - usually not what I want to do.
If there's a way to select just some text, and then push "quote" and get only part of a post, I'm all for it.
Didn't seem to work when I just tried it, however.
If it does, then I don't.
Meanwhile, I just "cut and paste" what I want, and denote it with ">>"

Rather than quoting just what you want, you can quote the whole thing then remove the parts you don't want from the quote.

Just got home from work and have read the replies to my post[I work from 12pm to 8pm].
First, I would like to thank the girls that offered some very good advice. Wish I had thought about turning the tables as I am sure that my video and voice recording equipment will do the trick quite well! Have little doubt that will stop any further harrassment.
Second, one person suggested that as my wife knows why would I be concerned. Well perhaps the fact that our 6 children, 17 grandchildren and 2 great grand children do not know plus our many friends, etc do not know might give me cause for concern.
My wife was initially supportive but over time has changed. She now wants nothing to do with my crossdressing.
The incident with the cd friend was as I described, however, the guilt I have experienced since has led me to conclude it really is not worth it!
I would also agree that it was totally wrong and unfair to my wife.
