My Doctor told me to wear a bra

Two weeks ago I woke up with a pain over my left breast, so I when to see my doctor.
He ordered a chest x-ray, EKG, and blood tests and told me to come back in 2 weeks.
I when to see him yesterday, I took my bra off at 5:00am my appointment was at 1:00pm.
I thought the strap marks would be gone by then.
Well he had me take off my tee shirt so he could listen to my breathing .
He noticed the strap marks and asked me if I had been wearing a bra, I lied a bit and told him my girl friend told me to try it and it did help the pain.
He said that’s fine if it helps you can keep wearing one (WOW Doctors Orders).
To day I went to work wear a bra under a jean shirt and it was great.
Just thought I would let all of you in on the best prescription I ever got from a doctor.

    Hugs

Just what the doctor ordered and no need for a second opinion there....

    Doctors EH!

If they're not asking you to strip behind the screen,
They're telling you to put a bra on....Jees

But then...."Doctor knows best".....as the story goes.

Hey what did he say the pain was from? But as far as the bra goes, rock on girl.

    Judy,
I have one almost as good. I have diabeties and am on an insulin pump. When I first got it i wore it on my belt but kept catching the insulin tube . Now i wear a bra and keep it in the cup. It looks from the outside like I have something in my shirt pocket. He also told me to wear support hose to help with the circulation my legs. Imagine that!!! Now if anyone asks I can tell them it is for medical reasons.

Hey Brenda, those support stockings aren't like nylons. They are more like stretchy canvas. heavier than a Ace bandage. I know, I used to wear them. I got to where I could get them on in less than a 1/2 hour for both. They ain't silky and they ain't sexy. But they do keep the fluid down. Been there, done that.
