I have four nightgowns and wear one of them every night. I avoid the ones with small straps. I'm sure they would not last. I have a short sating gown with very short sleeves and a full lenght satin gown also with very short sleeves. I also have a full length cotten gown and a short cotten gown, both with long sleeves for extra cold nights. My wife gave me two of these gowns!

I just got my first night gown a little more than a week ago and LOVE sleeping in it. It just feels so girl!

Nightgowns are great and as Christina said, womens pajamas are nice, satin ones. I slept in a slip last night.

I slept in a Vanity Fair spin slip again last night. Slippery material does indeed make it easier to turn over under the covers. That’s the good news – the bad news is that the narrow non-adjustable straps tend to fall off the shoulders and sleeveless garments can be cold. These can be obviated by layering, such as wearing a bra to keep the straps on, and wearing a tee to avoid getting a cold shoulder. My wife had slippery long tee’s a few years ago. Are they still available, and where?

VS satin PJs was and is a good way to "get started" with the gowns. I still wear the pants when we have company. No cotton at night....too stuffy!

I love the long tricot gowns on that site, but they dont ship to australia. Theres a gorgous satin and lace floral peignoir i love on there too.
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]I love my gorgous flowing evening and ball gowns. I love swishing in them, and feeling how beautiful and shimmering they are. I love to feel like a princess. I love to be elegant, feminine and ladylike.

I wear silky nighties to bed, gowns or a sleep pants outfit, either way. My Polar Bear cuddles up next to me and goes "Mmmmm, my silky kitty"

I love a full length nightgown. I wear my breastforms while I sleep (just the proper amount of adhesive to hold them in place) and a satiny nightgown and smooth shaved legs with breastforms. What a divine way to go to sleep.

My Bride of 46 years, allows night gowns every night, when we are without company. Rare visitors require guys boxers. Grandsons don't need the confusion. Miss Elaine, Shadowline, and Vanity Fair have nice nighties. Miss Elaine is super, Best of All. Granny VF Nylon panties are an option.

I always wear one to bed. Best part is that the long one I wear has a tag that says "the woman within"

It is either nightgowns to bed or nothing at all for me. Broken strap, OK. I can fix it. Loose strap. OK, I can life with it. The feel is worth it.
