I took my name, or maybe it took me from my interest In Wicca, Dion is a ancient Greek Goddess figure of youth.
My full name is Gretchen but I prefer to be called Gretch.
I've always been a big fan of the moon. I love going for walks late at night, especially when the full moon is out. The gentle blue light from it is... calming. I can almost hear it singing as it washes over me like the purest, softest silk.
So, I took my name from that; the Latin name for the moon, which I think is beautiful, and the Japanese word and kanji for "light", which I also think is the prettiest kanji. Moon Light. It suits me well.
Is Birthe pronounced Birth? Its beautiful
The song Beth by KISS had a special meaning when I was somewhat younger (1976) .... maybe I want remember those days in new light?

You can fine me here on Facebook!
I have always felt that Katie would have been the perfect name for me if I was born female. It's a real pretty name
Christopher is my real name and everyone has always called me Chris. Without them knowing it, calling me Chris helps me feel both my male and feminine sides are being recognized.
The first time I thought up the name was to join this site, I've known a few really nice people called Melissa so I guess that might have helped me make the decision. It just stood out. The actual act of choosing a name has helped me to accept that this is a permanent part of who I am though, has anyone else experienced that?
Hey! I chose Stacy a long time ago, well at least relative to my age, the choice was based on the girl I wanted to be. She was gorgeous, flirty and always so feminine. I just always idolized her.
I just use my writing name. Suisen Yuki. Suisen are daffodils. Yuki is snow. I'm not Japanese, but I'm fluent in speaking it and can read it at a first or second grade equivalency level. Yuki is a gender neutral name in Japan. I picked this name because I'm Bi-Gendered.
My femme name is Roberta, an extension of my male name Robert. I think Roberta owns my soul more than Robert does!
I went the longest time without one, but my wife and a friend asked about it. I wanted to choose a name with the same first letter of my own name, but not one shared by any close friends or relatives. Started out with "Mary", but then decided this weekend to make it "Miriam". I think this sounds prettier.
Miriam
My GM name is Ken, so I had some friends suggest Barbie. I don't think I could go with that as I was always partial to the name Heather. I decided to combine things as I still get some call me Barbie.
Bianco for Biancah cool one![]()
Hi Kimberly,
'Judith' is what my parents would have named me if I'd been born a GG. However, there's a slight twist - I didn't actually know that (they would have named me Judith...) at the time that I chose Judith for myself! I only discovered over a year later when my (very pregnant) cousin was visiting with my parents and she started discussing girls names with my parents - at which point my dad said... My cousin's baby was indeed a girl and guess what - she's Judith too!
Can't imagine what would happen if the younger Judith ever came face to face with the older one!
Hugs
Judith
Mine is Lexi which an online friend of mine randomly started calling me and I liked it a lot so few people now call me that and it's kind of close to my real name which is Alex. Wish I could get away with more people calling me Lexi all the time but...
The name Jordyn shares some letters with my birth name so it isn't too different. I just thought the name could be answered to while dressed or not (if I ever ventured out). I like it so far because it has a feminine flair with the spelling but isn't over the top, just like my level of dressing at this point in my life.
my girlie name is natalie which i got from my wife and her friends !!!!!! got it from my boy name Nate. it feels so good when calls me natalie !!!! it also feels good that my wife helps me b girlie !!!!!! she doesnt do it all the time but is happening more often !!!! she even mentioned havin a girls night out just me and her. that is very exciting to me. i know i am ready just got wait till she is. dont want to push the issue tho. when she ready she will be ready. something to look forward to
So years ago when I loved looking through the VS catalog, but couldn't find an excuse to get it in the mail I came up with my alternate femme name. Guys can't get lingerie catalogs! - the reasoning went. So inadvertently I came up with my female name - Darla. I love it! And she was badass on Buffy too.
Kisses
Darla
Another thing I learned through 30 years is that lots of wives do their on-line and catalog shopping in their husband's name. After seeing so many of my wife's catalogs with my name on them I saw my opportunity. Turns out she also doesn't know which catalog companies pass your name along to others, and so on ... (but glad I can just be honest about it these days anyway).

well i picked Starsha because my first crush was a beautiful hippieish red haired girl so when i started trying to find a name for myself i decided on hers because it was an absolutely beautiful name and a name i admired.
I picked my name because, like so many other girls here, Victoria would have been my name if I were born a girl. The last name I picked, Vermilliana, comes from a character I used to play as in games, Aurora Vermilliana. I really couldn't come up with anything else :P But I like my name, so it's staying.
