I always felt I should have a tattoo, but I could never find one that I felt I would still like years later. Thank God, because years ago I likely would have chosen some manly thing just to prove how masculine I was. I also wouldn't celebrate my transition simply because it is such a short-lived part of my life -- it may have been a momentous time for me, but then it's done. Thus, my body is ink free.
