Denver is close to you and has a very diverse and welcoming population. You can stay in the Capitol Hill area or Park Hill area and shop at Cherry Creek or Downtown. We have an excellent theater area. There are many bars and restaurants in the Capitol Hill area (Racine's, Hamburger Mary's, X-bar, Cherokee on 12th, Black Crown that I have been to). Come June 16-17th for Pride weekend and wander the park.

San Francisco is expensive but the Castro is welcoming. Oakland actually has a very large LGBT community.
Vegas...meh. If you stay in the tourist areas like The Strip or Downtown it is OK (as well as the outlets). But remember Vegas is a Mormon based town so not all of the city is open
San Antonio? Don't have any idea.
Of course New York and LA have areas and Miami and Orlando are LGBT friendly in certain parts
