can someone tell me how one would find a partner to crossdress with....on site like craiglist list people are just looking for sex ...and i,m not looking to sleep with anyone...it just would be fun to have someone to dress with....am i way off for wanting this?
I know of one Crossdresser who advertised for a female to go shopping with.... the girl that answered the ad is now his wife.... but id stay away from craigslist... might end up dead.... or worse.... I found a few local girls to dress with on IM..... and social media.... go out on Facebook and il bet you can find a lot quickly... problem is most I've seen don't want to just dress..... whether they say that up front of not.... you might get surprised unexpectedly ...
I’ve met several local CD’s from posting on this forum. First thing to do is change your profile to show your location. I received several PMs once I had 10 posts in and I discovered that several of the members here were also members of a San Diego support group, which I joined and was able to actually meet them face-to-face.

Probably not ever one-on-one for me. However, if there was a woman present facilitating, I might be more inclined to. It would be an unusual thing for me to do I think. Now I really wish I had a female SO to do it with. That would be heaven especially if we were the same size.
Like most have said, it's a matter of getting to know people in the forum and then extending the relationship outside the forum.
Like any friendship, compatibility has to be tested and adjusted. Just because we're crossdressers doesn't mean that we're compatible with each other. Much more lies beneath the surface. Some might want to just get together with others and play with clothes, others like to go places and do things while dressed. Even if one finds a new friend with common interests it takes a period of time for a solid relationship to form. Remember, the friendship is the most important thing, the friend happening to be a CDer that is icing on the cake!
