On cloud 9

Well where do I start .... OK I spent the past week or two buying new outfits and jewelry and foundation garments all for the day I could shave and start my dressing. (Can't dress in summer due to not being able to get rid of arm and leg hair) So that day was yesterday. I had the day off and my wife had to work. So when she left and my son headed to school I started the transformation. My wife and I were staying in contact via text message. At one point when I was doing my toes she messaged " I bet your on cloud 9 " I said you don't even know !! Anyway after I got everything in place and makeup on and wig styled I got dressed. Today I wore light faded denim skinny capris with rolled up cuffs, a white cami and a light brown baggy sweater with tan open toe booties with stacked 2" heel. Omg it felt amazing to say the least. Got jewelry on then applied kiss french mani nails medium length. ( first time using these nails I was really impressed ) Ok done a few loads of laundry unloaded the dishwasher vacuumed the carpet, then went to the ATM and on to my wife's work to meet her for lunch. We only sat in her car but it meant allot to me. She said I looked better than I did last year and that made me feel good too. OK back home to do some online bill paying more laundry etc .... Spoke with my son and he said he got called into work and was going to run home and get his work cloths and would see me tonight. I had originally planned on getting cleaned up before he got home but decided to call my wife and see if I could stay dressed and go to the next town to eat. She said YES. So I freshened up, picked out my wig a Lil bit and sat and waited on her. Fast fwd. We dressed similar grabbed our purses and out the door. The next town is about 45 min away so we had a great talk across the mountain and leaf looking. Stopped for gas and due to my convincing look she persuaded me to go in and pre-pay and pump the gas while she sat there talked to me and people watched. Now my confidence level is off the scale right now. OK we decided on Zaxbys and we ATE INSIDE !!! Omg definitely cloud 9. Then we headed home but stopped on the mountain at a overlook and watched the sun go down. So today Marti was dressed from 8 in the morning till about 9 at night and had a great day. If was able to read this long post I hope you enjoyed it. Next Friday she's taking off a half day and we are going to Chattanooga thrift store shopping. So I need to go pick out my outfit xoxo xoxo I can't wait !!

What do you mean you can't shave for summer? That's all in your head.

My arms and legs are shaved all year round. I work with teenagers, both boys and girls while wearing shorts and short sleeves. For 12 years I have done this and have never had a comment or strange look from any of the kids. If anyone would take notice, it would be teenagers.

Just shave your legs and arms--go out and be yourself.

Thank you ladies. Yes I have a awesome wife and I love her dearly. I am overly anxious about next Friday lol. And yes the fear leaves when you feel great inside and out. And dressing age and occasion appropriate helps out too. The drive over the mountain to beautiful Franklin NC was real nice. The leaves are beginning to change and the critters are up and moving about. Lol my wife keeps wanting to read the comments as they come in via e-mail. She's so great gtg were going to get some girly organizers for my girl stuff. Thanks again girls.

I have started wearing maxi skirts in summer. I can now go out pretty while unshaven. I don't worry about my arm hair.
