I'd say 80/20 male to female.
I'd say 80/20 male to female.
Please call me Jamie, I always_have crossdressed, I always will, "alwayshave".
Physically - male. No arguing with that. (@#@!!)
Now - personality traits, I'd have to say "it's difficult."
I'm a caretaker / nurturer / cooperator. I can appreciate a beautiful sunset, or the lovely outfits Vanna is wearing. Stereotypically feminine, right?
I'm also a problem solver, (ex)technician, and someone who can fix a toilet or kill bugs. Stereotypically male, right?
I probably spend about equal amounts of time in stereotypically feminine and masculine clothing. (I'm always in panties, though)
I don't dominate. I don't like sports. I'm not into "chick flicks." I like sci fi and comedies.
I've been told "You're like one of the girls, anyway," when I was dressed fully male - and by someone who didn't know (at the time.)
So - I'd say I range somewhere between 60/40 and 40/60 (M/F) most of the time. It depends on what's going on around me at the moment.
I've waited so long for this time. Makeup is so frustrating. Shaking hands and I look so old. This was a mistake.
My new maid's outfit is cute. Sure fits tight.
And then I step into the bedroom and in the mirror, I see a beautiful woman looking back at me.
Smile, Honey! You look fabulous!
There is a survey online that reflects the work of Sandra Bem called the Bem Sex Role Inventory. it compares traits that surveys have shown that society sees as masculine, feminine or neutral and shows which side of androgyny a person might fall. It's not totally accepted as "science" but it's interesting to see how one scores on a standardized test.
I've always considered myself to be totally male, but I've also always been somewhat psychologically androgynous. I took the test and scored to the feminine side of androgyny which according to the criteria, seems accurate.
My scores:
feminine: 5.25
masculine: 3.30
neutral: 4.05
If feminine and masculine are over 4.0, it scores you as androgynous. My score put me on the feminine side of androgynous. According to the criteria, I was this way long before I started crossdressing in my fifties.
I still see myself as 100% male. Heterosexual, monogamous male. But, I was never a "man's" man.

To be loved but not known is comforting but superficial. To be known and not loved is our greatest fear. But to be fully known and truly loved is, well, a lot like being loved by God. It is what we need more than anything. ~ Timothy Keller
I have never considered myself anything but a male who likes to wear women?s clothing from time to time. And lately, it has been less and less time and often nothing more than panties. So, I don?t know what percentage that makes me but I?d guess it is pretty much on the high side as male.
This would be a tough one for me to pin down a number.
I would guess about 85% male, 15% female.
I totally prefer to dress in womens clothes. That is 100% how I feel most comfortable
But I think like a male otherwise. Although My body won't let me do most of those guy things anymore.
The construction projects are getting harder and harder to do,.
my sister's reply when I told her how I prefer to dress
"Everyone has there thing, all that matters is that you are happy, love what you do and who you do it with"
Now that's a tough one...hmm I have rebuilt the carb on my 67 El Camino while where my black tennis dress, shiny tights and heels. Closed toe of course as I am in the shop. Where would that put me percentage wise? Caring, loving male wearing women's clothing with mad MacGyver skills with hints of Mike Holmes building traits. Let's dress up and grab our tool belts. Were going shopping at Torrid. After we head down to the massage table to relax some before the football game starts.
From a brain perspective, 10 percent male.

I have taken the bem sex role survey that Bea suggested and is was 132 feminine and 71 male. Thank you all again for sharing and replying.
Hmmm.... I don't have a proper measuring stick for this...
My first reaction is that I am 100% male all of the time. I dress in women's clothes, but stay the same. (Other than holding my knees together and bending over appropriately for the outfit.)
However, I don't care to watch sports, and I don't mind watching chick flicks. I am more caring about strangers than my wife, but that might not be a male/female trait thing....
EDIT: "I am more caring about strangers than my wife cares about strangers" -- just to be clear! :-D
I'll go with 100% male. Are we being graded on accuracy?

I am a man who presents male and wears feminine clothes.
I blog about my outings: https://joeypress.wordpress.com/
I try to be 100% me (at least when me isn't a dick - no pun). And me is male by education. So, mostly male as society views it. My wife still can't connect male me with wheeez-pantyhose-heels-lipstick me. I can, because I don't really feel any different inside. Just dressed differently, and feeling different emotions linked to being dressed like that. So the Crepe Suzette version of me is pretty much male too.
I tried the Bem Sex roll Inventory, very interesting. I came out 50/50 Androgynous which means I'm about the same however I'm dressed, half male half female. Quite happy with that result.
I took Bem Sex Role Inventory test mentioned here - the first one I could find and got more feminine score than masculine, which is not what I was expecting...
Femininity: 5.2
Masculinity: 4.5
Neutral items: 4.6
I'd say I'm 70% masculine at least, unless I'm "dressed" (which doesn't happen often).

Ha, just took another version of the test, going from a blank state:
profile is: feminine
masculinity: 3.8
femininity:4.9
I never would have guessed...
Well, these are my results:
Femininity: 5.05
Masculinity: 5.35
Neutral items: 4.85
I suppose they are where I thought they would be... I guess.
I think it would really depend on the day and what I'm doing and with whom but left to my own devices, I much prefer exploring my femininity.
Largely because I have had to suppress those feelings for so long I think and now I feel as though I am making up for lost time.
I also feel more authentic as a woman...
The most common form of despair is not being who you are. - Soren Kierkegaard
my bem rating is
1.6 male
6.3 female
5.3 neutral
100% me. Clothes are what I wear, the rest is just me.
When a male is a nurturer they call it husbandry. I am attracted to performative femininity, and prefer to live that way at home. I'm androgynously dressed male out in public.
If I had to put a number on it, I'd say, maybe 60f-40m (?). My signature line says it best.
I am a vessel of the goddess. Let me express my calling to a feminine life through nurturing love and relatedness.
I would say I?m 80% female although the 20% male is mainly how I talk at times I still haven?t changed all my male sayings or discussions males get into over women. I know the difference I just haven?t gone in that direction totally yet but I?m working on it.
Hard to put a % on it. I have joked with friends I could easily be gay if it wasn?t for the fact I?m not attracted to men.
Long time married and love my wife with a healthy sex life and love my kids taking my role of husband and father seriously.
The on,y person who knows my CD is my wife so all friends and family see me 100% male, although I recently confided with some friends I wear female Jean shorts as they fit better.
So I love women and love the femininity of CD but even if I?m wearing a skirt there is no pretending as I even have a beard.
Difficult to put a percentage on it, but, would lean more feminine than masculine. I've always felt than my personality would have been better suited if I had been born female. I've never been one of the lads, but, tend to gravitate towards women rather than men within a group setting.
0 if I had a choice but maybe 10%-20%.
I'm over it so when I walk into the local for a Chardy with mates, Its Stace in Guy mode with Lippy, nails and very short shorts 99%
The other Stereotypical % is in the back for when the football players get out of hand.
