    Adams Apple

My wife tells me I was very lucky to have been born with no visible Adams Apple. Just wondering hows yours look when dressed.

Same for me, Chrissy, no visible Adams Apple, you cant even feel it if you feel my throat with your fingers.

It is definitely something I am happy about for my female presentation, as it is something people in the know key in on when they see us in the wild.
During MTF transitions, a tracheal shave, or chondrolaryngoplasty, is often performed to reduce or eliminate this visual clue of maleness, as part of other feminization procedures.

Both men and women have Adams Apples, but they typically develop significantly more in males than in females, leaving the typical female without any visible sign of one. This is however not a hard physical rule, and there are women with visible Apples and men without them, like you and me.
Women who for whatever reason receive Testosterone hormone therapy with, will often develop an Adams Apple too.

Since the development of an Adams Apple is caused by the level of Testosterone in the body, and it usually develops during puberty, my lack of one does make me wonder what this means for me. I have never had my Testosterone levels measured, but perhaps I am low, or at least was low during puberty. I did start developing breasts at the same time my female classmates did and for a little while, mine were the largest! I was a skinny kid so it was very visible and it was quite traumatic for me at the time and caused my parents a lot of distress.
It was not gynecomastia, in case you wonder.
The development stopped after a while and what was there disappeared over time and I ended up a perfectly normal male ... who desperately wants to look and act as a female now and then. Go figure!

I got visible one, but not too prevalent, so combined with other elements from our box of illusions and tricks it doesn't ruin my female picture, until one focus on it, which nobody does.

No Adam's apple. But, with my old, wrinkled, and marked up neck it wouldn't matter!

Fortunately, they make a variety of neck covers in different cuts and colors!

And, since I usually wear crop tops and plates? They all come with perfect, young, smooth, necks, too!

I don't have an Adam's apple which is interesting as I am a bass singer, deeper than baritone.

Mine is not prominent for which I am thankful.
Otherwise I would have had to deal with it in one way or another.

No Adams apple for me either fortunately I was blessed with a small feminine neck. I remember when Caitlyn Jenner had hers shaved down sounded painful to me.

I remember there was a big discussion one time concerning Sandra Bullock's Adam's Apple. At six foot and 200 pounds, if I worried about my Adam's Apple, and thought I was passing by wearing a scarf around my neck, I'd be delusional. If not a scarf, try a high neck dress.

None visible here. It?s odd because in my late teens I thought it was rather obvious. I have no idea how that can change.

No Adam’s apple here, not the slightest trace of one. No neck either.
What do I do on days when I don't crossdress? I have no idea.

Mine is the size of an actual Crispin apple. Nevertheless, she persists.

I never present female, so it isn't a concern. But my Adam's apple is not prominent.

Funny story: I went on a date with a girl after I was out of college. We were at a coffee shop and I noticed that SHE had an Adam's apple. I sat there pondering what this meant. I did not think women could have them. There were so many reasons to assume that she was a cis girl and not a CD/TS person. I figured that it didn't mean anything. After a couple dates, we never went out again. She wasn't interested. Years later, she ended up working with my wife. She has given birth. I think she is a cis-woman. Probably.

I have one but it's only noticeable if I stretch my neck, kind of looking straight up to the sky.
I'd never really thought about it til now!
