Since I ALWAYS identify as a man and use my real male name of John, I consider myself as a freestyler rather than a crossdresser. And I wear dresses exclusively. I wear men's white brief underpants and a bra. The bra is a woman's garment, since last time I checked there no bras with a DD cup in the men's section.

I love to dress fully, but most days when I'm out, my dressing is hidden beneath male clothes. At least, I think it is hidden. At home I don't need to hide it.

I also frequently stealth dress, which to me means openly wearing gender neutral looking clothing when they are not. For instance, I mostly wear women's black leggings while at the healthclub. I've also worn semi-sheer black tights with lycra bike shorts, both from the women's department.

It took me a while to be able to admit to myself that I am a crossdresser. I spent time feeling ashamed and dismissing it as something temporary.

I only have one dress, which I rarely wear and only ever in private, but a number of bras, panties, and sports wear.

By the definition given I would be classified as an 'underdresser'. But I'm not. I'm a cross dresser. Tbh I still fairly often feel ashamed. But I accept it.

Since we both retired, I don't get many opportunities to fully dress, but I underdress with panties and nude lipstick most days.

No need for you to think that you are upsetting anyone here. You are honest with your feelings. Believe me, there are many of us here who have felt some degree of doubt , shame and insecurity during our crossdressing journey and some of us still hide it even from our partners.
