    Call me Sentimental

I don?t know what it is, probably that human , and sometimes more feminine need to connect and interact. I don?t know how many here feel extra good when somebody from this forum pops by your page and says ?hi? or comments on your post. Even when I see someone new that merely stopped by my page, I try to drop a thank you on there?s. Just saying it could go a long way towards making this forum more friendly instead of only sharing what you wore, did , said etc. hope I wasn?t too ranty. Peace, ladies

Some would call that being social or polite, Jocelyn. If their contact made u tear up? That's sentimental.

    I think you're being nice!
U can't keep doing the same things over and over and expect to enjoy life to the max. When u try new things, even if they r out of your comfort zone, u may experience new excitement and growth that u never expected.

Challenge yourself and pursue your passions! When your life clock runs out, you'll have few or NO REGRETS!

Joss, I totally agree that reaching out to compliment others is a very good part of this forum.
No, not too ranty at all.

I think those who are thoughtful enough to send a thanks or a PM are the glue that binds the community together. I should try to be more thoughtful!

Hi Jocelyn. Thanks for the post.
What do I do on days when I don't crossdress? I have no idea.

Everyone likes a thank you or a compliment. It makes you feel good and valid.. As a CD it can mean the world. In male mode we get very few. There are a lot of good people on here that are very kind.

Debby, there definitely are, but I think there may be room for improvement. This was just an observation. You do you, I?ll do me

Nothing wrong in asking for little gestures of kindness. I think a lot of people share here what they think, do or wear because they have very few occasions to do so outside of these forums. I also found members to be very supportive when you are asking for help, advice, or feeling blue.

Hello Jocelyn, I'm a returning member, and I came across this post. I have felt the same way at times. Being a crossdresser is often times a very solitary thing for a lot of us. CD social clubs are few and far between and making friends in real life that also dress is so tough. Its nice to receive a compliment or a kind word from time to time.

I read a lot of posts, but don’t generally respond. Hmmm, maybe I should respond more often. . . Thank you!

In general I find the forum very friendly and welcoming, but your comment is certainly worth consideration. As stated above, this situation most of us find ourselves in is frequently a solo or limited interaction with the world. It helps to have comforting relationships here. Personally, I have no one to discuss my cd thoughts or actions with besides this forum. Could be a lifesaver, who knows.
