I can not believe my good fortune, in June I?ll have another home alone dressing opportunity. This after having one in March. Since retirement these seem to be harder to find than hen?s teeth. Four days to dress as I feel, and you know what that will be.
Once again to plan ahead. Last time I struggled with my makeup a bit. I since wrote about acquiring a makeup mirror, but haven?t done so yet. I finally found a place that had them on display TJ Maxx. TK Maxx for you gals on the other side of the pond. I seemed to have settled on a 7X version, although I will look again.
This time it should be warm out, so I am thinking about a summer dress. I would not mind a nice flowing maxi that would be nice to stroll around in. I will have to be checking the thrift shops soon. Many of the dresses I have seem to be dated, having acquired them years ago at Goodwill.
Last time in March when I had this opportunity, I took advantage of it and got my first pedicure. With color no less. I am still rocking what?s left of that and the soft pink never did expose itself to my wife. Now to decide if another stealth pedicure or not. Like to tell my wife, but she had a fit years ago when I did it myself. Keep thinking about a soft purple or green at this point. Somehow red seems to really trip her trigger, should she see them on me.
Of course, I?ll be running a mental list of things to buy or things I want to do when I get the chance.
I?m sorry if this post is lacking a focus. I am just so excited about another opportunity and as mentioned in another thread, I have no one to share it with. Many of us know what a solo adventure CDing can be. I may even bore you with more questions prior to its arrival.
