    upcoming outing

On Tuesday i get to have a first. I'm going to spend most of the day 100% enfemme. I've gone out to store fronts in MIAD before but those i have limited interactions with the public. Tuesday will be first day with wig and makeup. I will leave early to get dressed and madeup to leave before the family wakes up. Then drive about 2hrs away to have a day of shopping and eating out. Plan to go to some of my usual store fronts but am also planning on going to the mall. Will have to eat out as well. I am 6-4 with a VERY masculine build so i do not pass. A pig with makeup still looks like a pig I know I'll get some stares and wierd faces but I'm to the point i don't care.

This is my first and possibly my last. Not because I'm worried how people will react - it's been something I've wanted to try at least once and get out of system. But as we all know - that one time may just egg us on for more!

Best of luck, Jodi. Once you get out the door, then out of the car, the rest will get easier.

Good for you Jodi - enjoy! Remember tho, the impulse is already there, and it's highly - albeit harmlessly - addictive!

Jodi, I think most of us totally understand where you are coming from. I?m older and still have yet to do this. Good for you for pursuing your dream. I?m still a bit chicken.

I imagine you are planning many of the details now and anticipating next Tuesday. I hope it goes very smoothly. I certainly will be waiting to hear the details. Some of us live very vicariously through others on this forum. Will you dress to blend as much as possible. Change outfits during the day at all? Yea, that taste may just egg you on for more. The best of luck to you.

The first time out is always the most memorable. I felt the same way. Try it once, but the pink fog visited. It wasn?t until the third or fourth time.that I felt comfortable. Have fun.

Good luck Jodi! As others have said, just own it.
What do I do on days when I don't crossdress? I have no idea.

Enjoy the day. You will quickly discover that fee if any of the people you encounter will say anything or react.

When I go to the mall or stores, i try to act like I belong there even though I dress with lvery large breast’s and hips. With my 3-4 inch heels I am about 6 feet tall as well. The SA’s at Macys and Kohls always greet me and try to help.

I have at numerous times walked through malls and stores and nothing has ever happened.

    Go out and don’t worry.

Jodi, It will not be your last. You'll get hooked to fully dressing. Good luck.

Personally, I feel like dressing and trying to pass yourself as a woman, or dressing as a man and including female garments are stressful ways to be. When I go out as a man in a dress/skirt, there is nothing to hide. I am curious to hear your experiences. I guess the desire to pass in one form or the other are stress-inducing for me.

I had a pretty good day. My biggest disappointment was not finding much I liked. I did enjoy getting out fully enemies and occasionally at stores when I would see myself in a mirror would stop and think - hey that's not half bad.

I also did find it stressful too. It's also a huge hassle to wake early drive a long way then wait for stores to open and then have to drive back home. I wouldn't do this in the area I live in. The mall i went to wasn't busy at all - not very many people to encounter which I'm thankful for. Don't know if I could do it in a busy mall. Had decided to eat in the food court but chickend out when I did see it was more crowded. I also missed not having anyone to shop with. I think I would rather go shopping with the wife in drab than this.

All in all a successful day. If I do it again- might just be a one a year birthday gift to myself.

Also - that wig gave me a headache! Left a ring around my head.

I'm glad you had a pretty good day. Now that you have the first experience you know how much is truly involved.
I've waited so long for this time. Makeup is so frustrating. Shaking hands and I look so old. This was a mistake.
My new maid's outfit is cute. Sure fits tight.
And then I step into the bedroom and in the mirror, I see a beautiful woman looking back at me.
    Smile, Honey! You look fabulous!

Happy to hear it went well. Going to a mall seems like such a huge leap that takes so much self confidence and bravery. Inspiring!

    Hi Jodi

You have my upmost respect and I wish you had the happiest day imaginable.

My wife is slowly inching me more and more into going public and although being quite passable I still cannot overcome my fears completely so she has to resort to more imaginative methods to expose me.

I'm sure you were fine and the sense of achievement must have been amazing.

    Jodi,
I kind of agree there. Crossdressing is fun , but what makes it the best(for some of us)!is sharing it with someone .

Jodi, thanks for the feedback after your outing. I can understand your disappointment with not really being able to share an adventure with someone. Kind of reminds me of when I used to travel for work and got a chance to go see some things. Suddenly standing on a mountain with a beautiful view and no one to share it with was kind of sad.

I am jealous of those that get to venture out with wives, friends or others and experience the world dressed as a female and share.

I've gone out to stores restaurants, malls and beauty salons and never had a problem. Once I had some teenagers read me and say that's a man another time some small children clocked me and I know I have been read numerous times. Generally no one cares. ONce I had a lady say after talking with me for a bit "Are you a man? I had no idea" I took it as a compliment. Have fun ignore any nasty remarks and weird looks. Just have fun No one cares. The store clerks just want to make a sale.

Jodi, enjoy your time out. While you may get some stares, at 6'4" I doubt anyone will dare say anything loud enough for you to hear. I truly hope you like being out in public. I remember my first time. It gets easier each time. I haven't been out a lot, but maybe 12 - 15 times over the past 3 years. I never feel as good as when I can be out fully dressed with makeup and a wig. I know I'm not a woman. I don't want to be a woman. I just thoroughly enjoy everything about dressing as a woman and hope to do so to blend and not draw attention to myself.
It's never too late to enjoy a happy childhood.
Live each day as though it's your last 'cause one day you'll be right.
I'm finding the more feminine side of me...and I ❤️ this adventure.
