Wishful thinking I guess. Like others mentioned at least you can joke with your wife about it. If I tried the same thing, mine would be quite annoyed.

I can guarantee you that if my hubby were to join my girlfriends and I, he would be bored to tears no matter how he was dressed. He may even fall asleep at the table.
I have heard plenty of girl talk over my many years. I just asked for a reaction. We decided that only 2 women of the group would have a negative reaction. The other 5 ladies would probably take it in stride after the first 5 minutes of shock at how HOT I would look. HA.
My wife went on a ladies lunch last week, i knew if i joked like this she would not take it well. But i food mention that i was jealous I couldn't go. Heck, i would have enjoyed it in drab. I've always felt more comfortable in a group of ladies.
