I have graduated from the basic black cycling shorts to some of the cuter ones by keeping my eyes on the sales. My size usually sells out last in most women’s catalogs. I have various sleeveless tops including a couple of racerbacks. My wife isn’t thrilled with the tan lines but we rarely go swimming which is the only place I would be out topless. Sometimes I will throw a sports bra in with my repair kit and change in a discrete location. As much as I would love to ride in just a bra, those tan lines would be more problematic. Also, I see very few female cyclists riding in just a bra, now changing tops in the parking lot, yes all kinds of women wearing just a bra top, but not while riding.

As Stacy said, we need to get out and be seen. Who was that guy in the cute shorts??
