    Now my wife?s dress.

    Hello Everybody,

So, this past year or so me and my wife have attended quite a few weddings that included 2 of our own children. My wife has also attended and hosted several bridal showers. Through all this activity she has accumulated quite a few dresses, gowns, shoes and has done a lot of shopping both online and in store. I am quite fortunate that she shares all this activity with me by asking how things look on her, showing me dress websites she likes and basically asking my approval, as well as, letting me try on items of clothing. Browsing through a particular website one day a nice dress caught my interest so I ordered it for myself. It was a black pleated short sleeve midi dress that I thought was very pretty. Well when it arrived and I modeled it for my wife, she wanted to try it on. She really looked great in it and decided she wanted to wear it to a wedding next month. Obviously I was quite flattered and can?t for the day she is wearing it.
Has this ever happened to anyone else?

My ex-wife did take a few of my dresses when we were married.
And she did take one jacket that went with a dress I have. I never did get any of them back.
I liked when she wore my dresses, But did not like so much that I never got them back.

And it was kind of strange, If I would get something for her, Very rarely would she wear it.
It was all very confusing for me.

When my ex-wife and I decided to split, we would up having an unintentional clothing swap. She wound up keeping some tunics of mine to pair with leggings, as well as a dress. I wound up with 3 pairs of jeans, 2 dresses, and 2 belts. Second puberty caused my body to develop in ways where none of those things fit me anymore, but some of her clothes lasted longer in my closet than our marriage did.

I am lucky enough to have a wife who thinks trying on each others clothes is fun. We have regular dress up sessions, especially when we are trying to cull clothes. Some of her clothes work for me, and some don't, and vise versa.

This year at Atlanta comfort we wore matching outfits on two separate occasions.

My wife and I share clothes all the time. Mostly it's tops or shoes, but now and then she'll borrow a dress or stockings.
She has worn them to events we've gone to. Just wish I could have worn something of hers at the same time.

My ex one time needed a half slip with a skirt she was wearing to a work function. She borrowed mine, and when she came home that evening, she laughed and said she caught herself just about to say to a colleague that she had to borrow her husband's slip.

The closest I have ever come to this is when my wife and I were planning to go out of state for her sister's wedding.

She wanted to wear a dress, and she was looking for her slip. She could not find it, so she asked if she could borrow one of mine. She has never returned it to me.

My wife 'borrowed' a gorgeous slip of mine. I'm free to wear her clothes without asking if I so desire (so long as I put them back), but I've never managed to find that slip I had another article of femme clothing that she tried on once. It looked so good on her compared to me that I just couldn't imagine wearing it anymore. That's not from the negative aspect of it, but I was so happy it looked so good on her I wanted her to keep wearing it.

My wife for some reason has been buying summer dresses lately, she says she feels cooler in the hot weather wearing them. The last time she bought a dress besides for a function was years ago. But still when a work function comes up she still prefers my side of the closet.
Her mother is planning a girls vacation and just last weekend she was trying in a lot of her dresses and we would be swopping dresses and asking how they look on each other. I think that's a lot of fun and bonding.

Nice responses. It is fun swapping clothes, as well as, trying on my wife?s stuff especially when she buys new things and can?t decide what to wear. The one thing that bothers me is if she does wear a dress of mine and someone compliments or asked about it that she doesn?t say ?Oh I borrowed it from my husband ?.

My ex wife borrowed a camisole , half slip and pantihose on one occasion for a business lunch meeting with suppliers.

When my girlfriend who is very accepting ,remarks something I've bought is nice, I let her try it on (obviously to big) but to to get an idea how it would look on her. If we both still like it then I get in her size. Its really nice to do clothes shopping together either on line or in store as we both have got to know each others size, taste and what we think would look good on each other. In charity shops we can both be found going through the racks together pulling out possibilities for each other. I had to laugh last night when going to bed , i had just just slipped on a nighty and she slapped me on the bum and said put your panties on .

My daughter and I found a lovely dress at the shop, my first thought was she would look lovely in it, second thought was so would I.
    We paid half each
Daughter looked good in for a few days
I thought I looked good in it for a few days.
Wife stole it and so far worn it as much as my daughter and I combined

In the first 2 years daughter probably worn in 20 times, myself 20 times, and wife about 40 times.
