Baritone does not extend down to D2. I am a bass, deeper than baritone.
When I first joined the choir on the first Sunday people were surprised hearing a bass voice coming out of an apparent woman.
Some new female choir member was wondering where a bass voice was coming from during choir rehearsal.
My church choir is small and I'm the only true bass in it. The baritone is a very masculine looking man.
