    Craving this more and more.

Recently the urge to dress has become far stronger than it was before. I think about it a lot.
I feel like stress rises up inside almost like panic but not the same, and that eases after ive dressed.
I dont get much female company and strangly i think that makes the whole thing worse.
It scares me that im more dependant on it than i was before.
The feeling was never this intense.

    Does anyone else feel similiar?

I think that is quite common with a lot of us, Kym.
I have described the feeling to my wife as exactly that, a feeling of panic or anxiety almost.
I also told my wife that I sometimes in the past on a business trip will bring some clothing, even if I have no intention of actually dressing. I told her it is to make sure I have the option, if that stress/panic feeling pops up. On trips where I did not bring anything, I have at times ended up browsing stores to just find something, and that seems totally irrational to me .. except when in the situation.

If u mean you're worried dressing more may isolate u even more from dating women? I think that's a realistic result from my experience.

So many women, many of them 1/2 my age or less, will chat or even hang with me/us at bars and clubs, etc. But, if I wanted to date one of them I'm outta luck.
U can't keep doing the same things over and over and expect to enjoy life to the max. When u try new things, even if they r out of your comfort zone, u may experience new excitement and growth that u never expected.

Challenge yourself and pursue your passions! When your life clock runs out, you'll have few or NO REGRETS!

Yeah, I get stressed out when I can’t dress for an extended period of time. Like 4 or 5 hours.
What do I do on days when I don't crossdress? I have no idea.

With absolute certainty, my girl urges cost my first marriage. Oh yes it seemed like many other things at the time. But years of hiding out sneaking around. Not being able to be my girl except in fleeting moments for time to time. She was unrelenting. All because a partner in marriage was so absolutely closed minded and totally unapproachable in the slightest sense. So all along I knew it would lead to my separation if I dressed or didn?t dress. It was that strong and untenable the way things were. Many years later new wife of over 20 years that totally understands, not threatened and actually appreciates and acceptes my more feminine side. Haven?t been in full men?s clothes for years.

    Thanks for the replys

I ment that not having much female company, relationship wise, seems to makes me dress more.
Im not sure, but i think if i was in a relationship i would dress up less?

    Who knows.

    Hi Kym,
I think we all get these urges, and I agree that not having any female company does seem to intensify the urge, it's like we're trying to replace the lack of feminity in our lives ourselves, by, becoming the female company we desire, it doesn't appear to be as strong when I have female company in my life. It's like when I see a woman in a cute outfit, I'll find myself thinking what it would feel like to be her, or how that outfit would look on me, while simultaneously being attracted to her.
When you get the urge, are you in a position to dress up freely or does anyone know you dress.

It seems the urge increases when under more stress, and dressing does have that calming effect.

Yes, I think you are right. I do sometimes feel as if ive created my own girlfriend, as daft as it sounds.
I feel like that sometimes (not always) when i meet a lady that i consider to be hot, shall we say. Do i want to be with her or dress like her? Both at the same time would be nice.
I can dress whenever i want, however i try and limit it so it doesnt become a bigger and bigger thing in my life.
A couple of friends are aware of this, yes.

I have totally given in to my desire to dress as that's all I wear these days, whether to wear a casual dress around the house, a nightgown to sleep in, or to doll myself up with a formal dress, heels, and makeup for Sunday mornings. The last time I wore pants was 2024 late September to my mother's funeral.

When I was younger I use to think that if I had a girlfriend or wife my urges to dress would go away. I’m not sure why I thought that but boy was I wrong. My urges to dress are definitely linked to my level of stress. Fortunately I don’t have to hide to dress up. I get to dress every weekend so I just have to make it until then for the full experience. I do wear panties every night under my pajamas though.

Hi Kym, I have the same. The more I dress the stronger is my desire to do. If not limited by circumstances I would stay on the female site permanently. I am afraid I have reached the very edge of the gender dysphoria.
Hi Jasmine, I do understand your point. I admire women and I am attracted to them so much that I want to be one and I envy them femininity.

Lots of similar responses here. The part I hate the most about being dressed is having to take it all off. Each time I do it I console myself with the fact that I'll be doing it again in just x days.

Before my wife fully retired I had the opportunity to be en femme on her work days for six hours. Those were days a la June Cleaver doing domestic chores fully en femme in heels and hosiery, dress and all the proper undergarments. Makeup takes too much time to apply and remove, so maybe it was lip color to stain my coffee mug as a reminder. Now it is impossible to have a full en femme day. Fortunately, we sleep apart for medical comfort so I do get to wear a nightgown/full slip with bra and panty every night and into the morning hours. Right now (almost 9:00 AM) I am in a pink bra and panty set under a Shadowline ankle length nightgown from the Petals collection. If I did not have these several hours each morning I would be nuts. Another activity that keeps me on a even keel is collecting my favorite styles of Vanity Fair panties; It's the hunt and fulfillment of finding something.

It seems like this is a very common occurence.
It happens to me very often. The more I get comfortable with myself
the more I like to dress, The better I feel dressed. The more I want to dress everyday
for longer periods. It just feels right after time.

Funny the weather is getting cooler here and I had to put on a pair of guy pants for the day
I thought YUCK. I hate these things. I would so rather have worn shorts or it would have
been even better in a dress.

strange I hate men's pants on my legs, But love pantyhose.
The mind of this crossdresser is really a strange place.

A therapist would make millions trying to sort out those thoughts
my sister's reply when I told her how I prefer to dress

"Everyone has there thing, all that matters is that you are happy, love what you do and who you do it with"

I couldn't agree with you more, Ilisa: I've always had an urge to dress, but am undergoing a fair amount of stress at the moment and REALLY appreciate the calming effect.
Even more so, I find it is the only thing where I can completely forget the stressful things and so the urge to have stronger and stronger and more frequent dressing sessions increases...

I crave being feminine more often and know that being feminine is definitely a part of me that I need to express daily at least to myself. I have dressed feminine in some way for almost 50 years. I have gone through phases of not accepting and then accepting my gender fluidity. I have purged women's clothing and makeup only to later purchase again. I feel confident in my gender fluidity now and I wont purge again. My wife knows but does dislikes this part of me, so I dress in private and underdress. Being feminine is a part of me sometimes, just as being masculine is sometimes.

I find it kind of comes and goes. Sometimes I could go days without it and then it comes on so strong I can't control it and that when if the opportunity isn't there I get nervous. I believe your having normal feelings, with or without a female mate.

I've found the desire to dress strong lately.......most night I get in from work and change into Fem clothing....most times its just panties & a casual dress but some evenings its the whole hog. Not sure why....my job isn't stressful,I just feel more comfortable in a dress....one in particular. I only sleep in nighties now. My wife doesn't mind and we live in the middle of nowhere.....the security cameras we have are handy to keep an eye out for unexpected visitors (not that we get many) so its not a problem
