Definitely Gender dysphoria for me! I feel so complete dressed as a woman. But I also think there's a little bit of sexual kink...

    I would guess 90% 2 and 10% 3.
It's never too late to enjoy a happy childhood.
Live each day as though it's your last 'cause one day you'll be right.
I'm finding the more feminine side of me...and I ❤️ this adventure.

We are now into the third page of responses, and the OP has not even looked at the first one since asking the question.

Number 1 - 100% started at 4 or 5 years old. Best guess
But family, etc prevents full transitioning / full time dressing.
    Wife knows arrived 47 years.

I really do not like it when something that is complex is suppose to fall into a certain check off box. It's like choosing what is behind one of the doors on a popular game show. I think each man and woman is born with some genetic makeup of the opposite sex in their dna chain. In some people it is more than somebody else. Perhaps, some external stimuli or a change in body chemistry prompts a change in behavior that is out of the norm of societal expectations.

I like the sexual kink one, sensation, fabric feel up, it all started there, but isn't it something much deeper that we could never understand, I have many Sisters and I had a good time with their make up but I never wore make up

Started out as #3, but as time went on #2 crept in also. Now I'm firmly somewhere between #1 and #2. I now carry a purse with me all the time and have a hard time not leaving the house in girl mode. It seems #1 is getting stronger by the day. Presenting as a woman is becoming more normal for me.

It is an escape. For a few hours, I put my stressful male life away and become someone completely different and carefree. No dysphoria, no kink, just a little peace and rest before entering the fray again. I enjoy the fray but I enjoy the escape also.
