Guess I wonder if I'm a minority, being a bi non-married man here. And I thought Crossdressing is not related to trans gender. Is crossdressing related to transgender is this community? Just curious.

Crossdressing is not related to the sexual orientation.
The proportions of heterosexual, homosexual, and bisexual CDs is roughly the same like for non-TG folks. You will find them all here.
CD and TS are usually considered being sub-categories of TG.

Marla is correct. I'm single, Bi, crossdress, and belong to this group.

I didn't think there were any requirements to join in here except those of decency and appropriate behavior. If anyone cares I'm a hetero, single crossdresser.
It takes a real man to wear a dress.
I think Bi verses Straight CDS is about 70% straight, 30% BI. Or so I have heard.
I luv, this forum. I great find. I am a Bi-girl, But I dont think, thats the point of this forum, We all love to crossdress, YA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
XOXO Tiffany.
Sexual orientation catagories suck! I am sexually bi, but in relationships I am hetro, so what does that make me? Confused maybe?
Plus, to top it all off, I am monogamous, so I guess for all practical purposes I am hetro? Or maybe just confused...
Doesn't really matter, what ever rings your bell in bed is incidental here, what matters here is that crossdressing rings some bells for you too!
Ding, ding! Ding, ding!
I am Bi curious and also think that a lot males are basicaly that way but
resist it. I use to fight it off for years. I have only had a very little experience
with it as i started later on in life. since I have been reading and learning
so much on this site it has helped me cope with a lot of hidden apprehentions.

I feel for you Audry. I have also become more bi-curious the more active my crossdressing is. There aren't many guys I find attractive... But there's something about the thought of a charming guy holding me making me feel like a lady that totally wows me. Does anyone get the feeling they're maybe trying to immerse themselves into the gender this way?
Was married for 10 years. Been single again for 13 years and was single before that. Heterosexual, single CD. Only dress fully en-femme indoors , "underdress" in panties 24/7.

Single, hetero, CD.
I think it would be nice to have a male escort some nights when I go out en femme, but he would have to keep his hands to himself. LOL
Tere was poll on this last week and I do agree with you, but like Bethany
I am in a monogamous marriage and have never venture out of it.
If Iwas single again I would definitely have to think about it alot more before
continuing to court GG. But does it mean we cannot day dream and wonder?
As I said above if I were single I don't see the point of having the escort unless you want alittle bit of touching.
We all learn by experience. I was bi-curious when I was 18 because I didn't understand my dressing myself. I thought that it made me a ''queer'', so I had to find out, and I did. It's just not my thing. I never became confortable with it so I let it go.
I have a good woman with me now and plan to keep it that way.
Sometimes the only way you answer these kind of personal questions is through experimentation, and I see nothing wrong with that. You might find out sooner just how you feel by doing some experimenting. Just be careful, after all there are still a lot of ''nuts'' out there, so don't let them take you to any place that you are not comfortable with. e.g. Don't go home with them till you are ready.
it is better to be slow and safe than a fast wreck.

I went out to a local weekly "Drag Queen" show here in S.F., 'Trannyshack'. Alongside having a great time at this Fun, Wild, and Campy show, I got to meet a few CD Girls (very lovely girls indeed!), and I got my first 'paid for' drink and 2 offers to 'walk me to my car.'
If I was in it for the experimentation the door was open.
Before the 'offers' I talked to one of the girls about sexual boundaries and curiosity. I got to speak my truth.
Dressing opens new doors for me. Defining whether I will open a door and go through, or not can be limiting. I am comfortable with the "bisexual liaison" door, and know my criteria for going through it. The way to go through that door is through my heart, and his - emotional intimacy. If I find myself in an intimate connection with a man, then I will begin to open to the possibility of turning the knob on that door. The possibility of finding myself in such an intimate place is unpredictable, and mysterious to me; a possibility, and not a goal.
So....Single, Hetero, with Bi-Potential.

I don’t think there are any rules, we are all different.
sometimes its the labels themselves that are blurred and confusing, and that can be related to gender even if sexuality generally isnt.
Best thing is just get it out of your mind that it matters what you are...enjoy being your femme self, and enjoy whatever sexuality you are at ease with.
if you want to experiment, just make sure you are in control of the situation and enjoy that too.
I think for regular dressers who socialise as such, this confusion about oneself can be triggered more easily than a non dresser...and in that context it is perhaps relevant to these boards.
you can always go into more personal detail in private PMs if you feel you need to discuss matters intimate, there is always someone who can help as all sorts are represented here.
Roberta: what you said in this thread is pretty much the road I am on and I am up in my years. U hit the nail on the head. Glad you had so much fun I wished that i had done that when I was younger.
As they said in the sixties if it feels good do it Hun

I am a straight male who has the greastest urge to wear a skirt and a soft silk blouse 24/7 if I need a title let it be the guy who feels great in the skin that im in
There's a whole spectrum of good people on this site. Read the forums and you'll find that out. I don't think anybody here fits a black/white classification. You are this, or you are that. Bull.
Enjoy!

Hmmmm... I would describe myself as a divorced, (single) crossdresser - predominantly straight, though I have had some experiences.. I still prefer being with a woman. But as someone else alluded to, the idea of being with a man while en femme is appealing to me - if nothing else to immerse myself into the feminine experience.
I think the fact that I am a single, straight GG in these parts is even rarer!!!
