I couldn't decide whether to buy another banjo or another guitar so I bought a banjo-guitar. Then I blew out my shoulder and wasn't allowed to play it while I healed from surgery. Everyone was happy about that until I realized that I could still play my harmonicas. I play them a lot since I'm not able to do anything else and I've already watched every procedural crime show on Netflix and Amazon Prime...twice.

Before the surgery I was able to remodel my office - a bright new paint job, cabinets to replace the shelving, ceramic tile floor and all new lighting. I was kind of proud of it since I had to do it all with a bum shoulder. I was also able to get most of the grape and cider apple harvest completed and wine and cider made with a lot of help from my dearly beloved. I can keep the whole family drunk for another year. That way they don't mind my harmonica playing so much.

Oh, and the Dodgers won the World Series ... so I've been told since I don't watch the news either.
