This is the dress I'm wearing this year. I'm going to two parties, one public, and one private. I have enough room for vairiation that I will be wearing same dress, but it won't be the same costume.
Love the dress where did you get it may i ask ?

I wont be dressing up for halloween this year but just read that Dancing With the Stars costumes are popular. The article on Yahoo mentioned that it would be great for a guy to do as well. Being able to tuck could be a requirement. Hey, talk about the ultimate feminine attire, WOW! Any daring enough out there to try?

Your costume is in a cute color. I got mine off ebay too. It has blue and white contrasting pleats. Its the older (pre 2000) style. They used to be pleated and very full which I like. Now if i could find a womans football team to cheer for. YAY TEAM:)

Hey been doing some brainstorming on halloween ideas and one just hit me here watching the OSU vs. USC game. The USC cheerleader or song girl whatever there called uniforms are super cute! But I can not find anywhere to purchase one online, can anyone help?? Here is a picture of them:

They are so cute. They are so old school, before cheerleading uniforms went to to straighter look. I don't think you'll be able to get these cute outfits. Mostly because Halloween retailers use cheap materials and these outfits are high quality ~$150

I've been wanting to wear an authentic caporales (chica) outfit for Halloween. I love the ultra feminine sensuality of the female version of this dance. I was shocked to find that there is only one online retailer for this and the selection is so limited. drats. mabey next year

Here's the link to it anyway

Karren, I love the flapper outfit, the natural hair does the best to compliment the dress.. :)

Wish me luck since its my first time going out dressed femme. I'll post how it went later.Take care and have a great night.

little pre halloween get together. Camera phone pic, but a pic none the less.

My saturday costume is waiting for me...

wow!!!

In the past, I've gone out as a naughty nurse and i've done a naughty angel (actually won a stereo surround system at that party).

Since my wife and I got together about 6 years ago, I haven't been doing Halloween en femme. That's changing this year. Saturday night I'm going out as Paris Hilton. Pics will end up being posted in the photo gallery.

I'm seriously trying to find the venue where I can win the most money for a halloween costume. ...at least be able to win.

Well tomorrow is my "big" day. My boss made sure I would be working. She is very supportive of me and looks forward to my dressing on Halloween. This year, instead of just wearing a dress, I am putting on a witches hat and black press-on nails.

I don't know if I should post this here or under Clothing and Accessories, but here goes anyway. Tomorrow I'm going to a halloween party at the home of a very dear friend. I plan on wearing a Dorothy costume that I bought at a rummage sale for ten bucks. The ruby slippers that came with the costume were too small so I found a pair of red shoes at a Goodwill store and painted glitter glue on and voila I have my ruby slippers.

But even more important is getting the hair right. I borrowed a long wig from my friend Gale and tried to make the braided ponytails. No matter what I did, I was unsuccessful and with the party date getting ever closer, I posted an ad on craigslist looking for someone to help. I got a reply from a GG who works at a theatrical costume shop and she offered to fix the wig at no charge. I'm elated that a total stranger would take time away from her job to do a favor for a crossdresser in distress.

She wouldn't even accept a gratuity, so I thanked her and told her I'd send her a picture of me in full Dorothy costume. I guess acceptance comes when we least expect it. :)

I had gone to a Halloween party last Friday and just got the pictures back. This is a party that one of the gals at work throws with her family. They pick a theme amongst themselves and rent a barn! This year they had chosen "Alice in Wonderland" for their family. So the gal from work was the Queen of Hearts and her boyfriend was the King of Spades. So here she is with me as Elvira:

http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm4/TracySchapes/MeFriend.jpg

Here's a whole bunch of people from work. A Saloon Girl, Dr. Phil and his wife, Elvira (me), a Nerd, Queen of Hearts and King of Spades. There were about 100 people at the party. Inspector Gadget got the first prize (not shown, but super cute), the Nerd got second and I got third!

I guess I have to be the one who is the sad one on this thread. I look at Halloween with bittersweet and sad memories, for I have never really had a great Halloween experience.

As a child I recall some of the neighbourhood boys my age coming around dressed as girls. I recall being so very envious. It became so very painful after my mum found out that I crossdressing as a teen and abused me over it, for out of one side of her mouth she be saying how wicked I was for crossdressing, yet out the other side would be telling these youngsters how cute they were dressed as girls.

I recall how at age 14, I attended a Boy Scout Halloween party. I had to go as a cowboy. But several boys went as Girls Scouts or Brownies. I recall that one of my fellow scouts who was dressed as a Girl Scout was wearing a training bra. He was super proud of it and gave us all peeks at it. He made special mention of the fact that his mom bought it especially for him. I was filled with envy. Why couldn't I be so lucky. I remember going home and crying that night not able to reconcile why some moms could be so understanding.

I recall attending a Halloween Dance at age 27 sponsored by the young adults group at Catholic church I was attending. I was living with my cousin and his wife in Texas. I went as Madonna as she appeared in Desperately Seeking Susan. It was a mostly happy night. There was a girl from another church there who came dressed as a guy, in a suit and tie. Don't ask me how I know, but she was wearing men's underwear too -- a particular turn on to me. I of course was wearing panties :). This girl and I danced all night. It was great. I got her phone number in the hopes of dating her. I was on cloud 9. A week later, I was accused by my cousin and my mom of being gay because I went to the party dressed as a girl. I was so depressed after that, so hurt, I never did get the courage to call the girl, and I began the slow downward spiral into alcoholism. I even stopped going to church, because I was filled with shame.

Ten years later, I attended a Halloween party put on by the CD group I belonged to. Again, I tried to rekindle the old happiness. I went as Madonna again. The party was held at a local gay bar. I recall getting yelled at by one of the GGs there for using the ladies room. I recall some of sister CDers there openly flirting with some of the guys there in front of their wives. That was enough to make me feel that I didn't belong.

Sorry to be so sad and depressing about things, but Halloween stirs up more sad memories for me than happy ones. My wife and I had both planned dressing up to greet the kids that may come around tonite, but we have other commitments that mean we won't even be home. We planned the same thing last year, but similar circumstances said no. Maybe next year, I can finally feel some happiness on this day.

May your Halloween be a fun one.

Huggles

Okay, so I was part of the group of girls with Allie at Oaklawn but I missed out on the hotel group pics since I was fashionably late, as always..:D besides, i'm a bit on the shy side so no crazy or flirtatous pics.. sorry.. have to work on that though.. course after a few martinis, i was gabbing ninety miles a minute..:D

anyway, it was a great evening with some very nice people.

I took this before I made the drive out.. not a real character of a costume, but couldn't get the cute bowties on.. would have added a nice touch since they matched the gloves (forgot to put them on for the pic) and hose.

Here's my costume this year, inspired by the cute receptionist in The Office, all that's required is an orange skirt, a black sweater and tights, a Halloween scarf, some cat ears and black eyeliner for the nose and whiskers:

I belive I do a pretty good job passing. When I go out selom do I get long looks or stares of what the H#$! is that, infact, if I get looks it's usualy somone oggling me. I'd say on a normal day, I only get read once or twice. Sometise a little more than that, but not often.

I don't know, maybe (I really don't think so) I got sloppy knowing that today being Holoween, porvided me a safety net... Or... Maybe (and I'm guesing this is it) with today being Holoween, people are just on the lookout for such things. You know a day to expect the unexpected?

I had on a denum bibs skirt/dress whatever it is, with a lepard print pesant top under it. Then I had a fo-leather long jacket on over that. My heels were ony 3 inch. No outlandish jewlry either. Just 1 ring, and a pair of earings (studs)

For a long time, i had considered going out dressed tonight. But, I had a toothache, for weeks, and finally got into a dental clinic, today! And, I am having the worst back pain of my life. Could it be from wearing those high heels, when dressed?! As a kid, i loved Halloween! As i get older, I find it, like so much else, jaded. I really don't want anything to do with Halloween, other than it takes less guts to dress and go out then, and there's less hard judging, if read. I was in too much pain, also. I did last year, alone, and did fine. But, all the ghosts, witches, gouls, etc, I don't dig anymore, though, i used to, a lot.

So today my SO and I went to a local anime convention, there were a lot of us there. More than usual. The crowd was younger, they call it crossplay. I guess it makes things easier for mom and dad to take.
I saw about 40 FTM and 15 MTF. I am sure there were more of us lurking about.
Halfway thru the evening my SO suggested that I go and change into something femme. I declined, next time.
I hope tonight went well for all of you!!

My first wig isn't working out too well, since it came out of the package already very messy but I certainly look a lot less ridiculous than when I was previously, dressed in this school girl outfit while sporting a buzz cut! I like my limited makeup a lot more too, especially with how my cheeks get flushed while drinking.

I'm at my own party where only Agnieszka is invited, so it's going well.

http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y53/sandylewiscares/Angel.jpg"And you are?" the MC asked, mike extended.
I smiled and in my coy little voice said, "I'm an angel . . . "
The audience laughed.
"An Angel with a whip," he said, "That's a new one."

Halloween has come and gone and I hope everyone had a great time! Across the CD world there must have been a veritable blizzard of skirts, tops, makeup, and heels being tossed in the air and sorted through. Probably caused a wobble in the planets' rotatiom.

Now it's time for sheer exhaustion and tired feet and dreams of future crossdressing plans.

My spouse and I went to an intimate club in Hollywood to enjoy the wonderful music of a group named "The Four Friends."

I was supposed to be a whip carrying She Devil in a leather skirt, but accidentially forgot my sequined horns barrette on my dressing table. Don't you just hate when that happens?

It wasn't easy to get to the club. The streets of Hollywood were packed with costumed revelers, even though it was a long, long way to the "official" West Hollywood Halloween Costume Carnaval. Traffic was jammed.

And parking at the club wasn't easy either. I dropped my spouse and our GG friend off at the door and ended up parking a couple of long blocks away on a dark and lonely side street.

Creepy enough for a woman alone, but made worse by the long walk in 5" super stilettoes. I call them "super stilettoes" because the heels are 1/4 the size of the tiny little spike that a normal pair of stilettoes balance on.

http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y53/sandylewiscares/Shoe.jpg

What a great chance to practice walking on some of Hollywood's best broken sidewalks. It was wonderful to finally arrive at the club!

The audience was filled with costumed revelers, the show was excellent, and we all had a great time.

Then the three of us walked back to the car together and we headed home.

I hope everyone's evening was as enjoyable as my own.

Hugs,
Persephone.

Was going to dress, but the party I was going to was also attended by my son's friends and my daughter. If I'm going to dress I want to look my best and I didn't feel that would be right.
As it turned out my stuff got there, my daughter found my wig (went as Alice in wonderland) and my daughter dressed my son in drag (sort of) since he couldn't find a costume he liked. Me I was Ozzie Osborne so at least I did wear a wig, liner and black nail polish. Oh well, at least now I go out as Nikki at other times so I don't feel so bad.

I had a pretty good Hallows, all things considered. :)

Spent the day dressed casually, jeans and a nice layered top combo, etc. out and about the town. You could say I chose to take on the world, no holds barred, and came out without any scratches this time. Hit the stores, even stopped into my work for a scarce moment but didn't really acknowledge anyone (they were all busy), but bumped into a few people that had not seen me dressed before, and they were great to talk to!

By the time Trick or treat time came around, I had changed into my costume, and again was ready to walk without fear.. AND my parents came down from NH to go treating with my son and I - this was the first time my parents would see me dressed! (albeit in costume)... but again, went off pretty well - I think my father was taken aback, but seemed to just let me be me.

Two parties later and SO MANY friends to talk to, I made it home sober and sadly shed everything and went to sleep..

Ultraviolet did her best to make a good appearance though. :D

I took the chance last night and dressed for halloween, sorry no pictures. My fiance' was gone all day so when she came home, she found me completely made over. She wasn't very excepting especially the fact that I had pierced my ears. We went out to a party and many of my friends said that they thought I looked like one ugly girl. My fiance' told me that she would have been more excepting of my costume if I wasn't her fiance. From this experience, I have the feeling that she will never except my crossdressing. Anybody have some advice?

Most women are quite accepting of crossdressers..........so long as they are not married to, or dating them. My old girlfriend "just loved" her gay hairdresser. But had nothing to do with him otherwise.

My wife Marla and I went to the River City Gems Halloween Party. 42 of us at the house of a member. i had a great Halloween!! i went to friends house where she did my makeup although she was trying not to laugh while i was in costume as it was the first time shes seen me en femme. left her house and picked up a friend to go back to the girl's house who did my makeup as she was having a party. anyways, before we went to the party, i had to get gas in my car. i go inside to pre-pay and the guy behind the counter gives a little grin meanwhile the customers where all looking me u and down....lol. i pumped the gas (it was cold as hell out!) ad then headed to the party. got there and all the guys were giving me respect for wearing a dress because they said they couldnt do it..lol. all the girls were envious because they thought my costume was cute and told me i pulled it off so good because of being skinny. some of em said i even looked better than they did....lol. anyways, heres a pic of me at the party in my costume:

After reading this thread yesterday I decided that I had been missing out on a great opportunity. I've gotten my look to where I sorta pass so I might as well go for it. Told wife after kids were done with trick or treating I was gonna dress and go shopping. She was ok with it. First time I tried going out in public with her knowledge other than a walk in the neighborhood.
Knee length skirt, red sweater, black tights (should have worn reg. pantyhose being H'ween), 3" pumps. Went to a couple stores which were about to close so I didn't go in. Went to Meijer (24 hr.) walked in bought some lipstick, some flowers for my fantastic wife, looked at some skirts and dresses and left.
Doesn't sound like much but this was my first long time relaxed shopping experience. WOW was it great.
Thanks to everyone here for sharing their experiences giving me the courage to do this. Next H'ween is gonna be awesome!!:D

This year, I was determined to have a GREAT Halloween, with the day falling on Saturday, and I really did. as everyone knows, it all starts with preparation. I looked on E-Bay for different costumes and decided to be a Southern Belle. Bidding on dresses became a lesson in not giving up. I finally did get the red dress that would help make my day very special.
On Friday after work, I stopped by a nail salon and sat and had acrylic nails put on. I asked for the most feminine nails they could do. The gal looked at me and I said it was for a costume for tomorrow. They did the job and painted them a bright dark pink to match my dress. That night, I went out to the drug store with my new nails and had fun with the cashier. She even said she would like to have nails like mine. Then off to get supper, again, the cashier asked, but he did not see the humor in this.
On Saturday the fun begins. I get cleaned up and make sure bu whole body is clean from the neck down. Then change into a nice skirt and top. My wife helps me with my makeup and jewelry for the day. we get done about 11:30 and she says she still needs to get candy for tonight. I said I would go for her and she allows me to go out. This is what I looked like. http://www.crossdressers.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=100816&stc=1&d=1017713021This is just a lot of fun going to the grocery store in fem mode. I made it there Ok and got to the parking lot and did not even wait in the car. Got out and walked to the store and picked up a cart and started shopping just like the others there. I finished and the hardest part there was waiting in line. When it was my turn, the cashier said Thanks Hun and that maid my day. There were second glances and the young girls did not know what to think, but no one was disrespectful. I returned home and all the SO could say is did you get any bread! It was not on the list.http://www.crossdressers.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=100818&stc=1&d=1017713021
We had lunch and took a nap. It was now time to change into my costume for the evening. I freshened up my makeup and then dressed in my costume. My hair was perfect and with my nails http://www.crossdressers.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=100819&stc=1&d=1017713021and the makeup, I think the look was perfect. http://www.crossdressers.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=100817&stc=1&d=1017713021
I handed out candy all evening until there were no more kids, Some of the parents did not know what to say, some of the older kids had fun, but the older girls gave compliments on my dress and nails. Then we
went to a friends house to have a couple of beers and watch the last of the kids do the candy thing. When we arrived, my friend did not know what to think. I had a lot of fun there. Whenever the girls would say something, I would mention how hard it was to do thing. I got into their pictures and most did not know until I spoke. I will have to work on that. We had fun there and my friend had a hard time looking at me with out laughing. Just a GREAT time. After we left, she sent me a text saying "I was very impressed!" That alone made my whole weekend.
Today I had to cut off my nails and take the polish off. I still need to try and get the acrylic off, but that might happen later.
All in all, a FANTASTIC weekend. I now have to start thinking about next year!http://www.crossdressers.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=100820&stc=1&d=1017713021

I am not talking about what the Trick or Treaters wore, but what you wore to hand out candy!

Unfortunately I can only tell you what I intended to wear! I had to usher at my Church Saturday evening, and only got back home in time to answer my front door for some trick or treaters. fo the next hour plus it was a constant stream, so I did not have time to change clothes.

What I had planned to wear, instead of my usual Drab clothes, was my Hooters waitress outfit. For those who are not familiar with the Hooters chain, the waitresses wear shiny suntan tights, high heeled shoes, bright orange short shorts, and white tank tops with the words Hooters emblazoned just their own breasts. Of course they all have large breasts!!

I could not obtain a Hooters tank top, so was going to use a plain tight fitting white tank top. I have natural 40B's and with push up pads they will stand out pretty nice. I was able to obtain a pair of the shorts that Hooters uses and also the shiny tights, which BTW I love! I have them in both suntan and black!! I was also planning on wearing my black 2" heeled boots. I know, I should be wearing higher heels, but remember I am a 77 y/o CD!! Balance is not that great!

Anyway, I want to know if anybody else dressed up, or down, to hand out candy. And do you think I should try to wear that outfit next year? I actually did think about going out to the local Hooters for dinner on Saturday. It was Halloween!! BTW, I did put it on just to satisfy myself that I could!! Wish I had taken a picture!

Originally based on a comic book, but I took mine from the movie..

My first ever night out dressed! I went with a group of friends to a huge Halloween bash last night with probably over 100 people.

I just got started crossdressing a few months ago and don't want to stop. This is my first and so far only dress and I didn't want to take it off last night...until things got hot at home! :heehee:

Now that I've gone out, I can't wait to go out again sometime. I'm gay so going to the bars for me is a little easier than if I were walking into a normal "straight" bar in a dress. I've already got another hotter and shorter dress on order and I'm planning on wearing it this coming weekend. I feel like I've moved my crossdressing to the next level and it feels pretty good. :)

I'm glad I found this community! Very cool people here.

Last night I attended a party held by a friend who co-owns a small club, and belongs to a band which provided the evening's entertainment. I cobbled a costume together from stuff I own but hadn't an excuse to wear in public till now: a neat '50s dress in a sort of brown plaid, with a white collar, along with red and white saddle shoes and white bobby socks. I did get a few compliments on the outfit.
Another friend took some pics of me but I haven't got them yet. Best I can do now is to share a cellphone pic of myself:

I guess I'm the old poop! Since I dress almost every day I don't dress up on Halloween. :heehee:
Margot

I almost had the same idea as well. Wifey suggested that I dress as a Hooters girl, but I was feeling fat and bloated and too ungroomed to fit into the costume this year. So she whipped up a Bavarian beer garden/yodeler costume literally at last minute and we went as Hansel and Gretal. We had a blast! First Halloween in a long that I was not en femme.

Good evening to all. This was my first Halloween going out dressed femme and I must say I love it and enjoyed every minute of it.

It started on Friday night. I'm a big fan of this local Philly band, that was big in the 80's broke up in '88 and then got back together in '06 and I've been making everyone of their shows since then. They had a show at a venue in Northeast Philly Friday night and a costume contest and I went as Farrah Fawcett. I wore my Farrah wig, black spaghetti strap tank, a black skirt with blue stripes, tan sweater coat and black pumps. We drove and had to park a few blocks away since parking is tight in that part of the city. We walked to the venue and no one really paid no mind except for a teenage girl who was about 14 or 15 who walked by and kind of laughed a little but the way I was walking in pumps, who could blame her. Arrived at the venue and showed our tickets and the doorman kidded with me saying we have a special "ladie's entrance" I just laughed. Went inside and went to our seats, some people glanced but no big deal. At intermission I had to go to the men's room and asked the usher who was dressed as a pirate where's it at . He directed me to it but said jokingly are you sure you don't want to go too the ladie's room. Again we had a good laugh. Inside, one guy who came in after me said "There's a woman in the men's room" and laughed. We talked and he said to that I have alot of guts and he couldn't get dressed as a woman. After that he said enjoy the show. After intermission, the band leader announced that theater personnel were going to go around and pick 10 finalists for the contest. I don't think 5 minutes went by when the program director,an attractive GG with blonde hair, black short sleeve sweater, tight black slacks and black boots asked if I wanted to be in the contest. I decided to decline only because the prize was a year's subscription to performances at the venue and since I work nights and my wife's schedule is mixed. I explained that to her and asked if I win could I get the cash value and she politely said she couldn't do it,so I declined, thanked her and told her I was flattered and she said "you're welcome". The 10 finalists came up on stage and the band leader asked more people who were dressed up to come up. A guy and a few women who were sitting near us turn to me and "Come on ,go up,go up". I said "No thanks". I have a feeling had I went up I would've won, but I'd rather have the prize go to someone who would be able to use it. Now if it was a cash prize,I would've been up there when asked.Afterwards, had to use the men's room again and another guy complimented on how good I looked and said I did it right. (who knows, maybe he's a CDer). As we were leaving, a guy who was wearing a blue seqeuin coat who I guess was suppose to be Elvis said I should go to the bar across the street and order a cocktail, I'd be a big hit. I just said I have to drive back home but thanks. Well that was my adventure for Friday night. I'll post part 2 in a bit

Here's part 2. Saturday night was the party at the club I belong to. So I dressed as Farrah again, except I wore a white halter dress with the black pumps and tan sweater coat. We arrived at the club and seen people we know and they really liked what I was wearing. I was complimented, saying how good I look and so on. Alot of GG's were flocking around me saying the same thing. They had a prize for best costume and I won that one. It was a $100 gift certificate to a local bar restaurant in my area. We were drinking, talking and having a great time(and watching the Phillies blow game 3) and our friend called to see if we were still there and came down to meet us since he knew I was dressing as Farrah. When he came, he said wow you really did it good. So we had some more drinks and decided to go up the street to our regular hangout. I asked him should I go there dressed and he said " WTF,why not?" So we walked up,went in and everyone who we knew was like "WOW". They couldn't believe it. Of course I received more compliments, were happy that I won the contest and so on,but the best is still to come. Here's the best part. Two GG's came in,I'll say they were late 30's,early 40's,attractive and came over to me and said how cute I looked and said it takes a real man to go out as a woman. We we're talking and then the 1 GG started rubbing my leg! I was OMG! They proceeded to hit on me. When realized I was with my wife, they apologized and we said no problem. I couldn't believe I was hit on by 2 GG's! It was such a great weekend. I kind of sad to see it end but what can you do. I have to admit, I really enjoyed the attention and now I really want to start going out dressed femme more often. We'll see how that turns out. Hope everyone had a great Halloween like I had and here's till next year.

The pics I just posted the first 1 is what I wore to the concert and the 2nd is my wife who was a 1920's flapper at the club's party. Here is one of me in the white halter dress and my wife in her flapper costume. Don't mind the dates on them, the date on the camera went off again.

I don't normally celebrate the 31st , but by god I did this year . I attended a concert in Camden town in london called SHPONGLE - a hedonistic crazy alternative affair ( think Pink Floyd but pumped up and more tribal ) .The show was to promote Shpongle releasing a new album . After witnessing this fabulous , jaw dropping light show and mesmorising beats ( check out youtube ) it was then a short drive across London to a secret destination for an after party under a car park in several warehouse rooms . The whole affair was very hippy , free spirited and the vibe was total party . I've attended many parties over the years but it was totally mind blowing . I danced until I couldn't no more in the Psy trance arena , the whole place was animalistic ,a sound clash explosion - and although I was'nt dressed ( niether were 99% of the folks ,must have been several thousand in attendance) there were several t girls in there kicking off they're heels and equally going crazy . Nobody stared , made fun or anything . I began to realise there are REAL people outthere afterall .
I'm so into djing and the psy trance sound it would have been a dream come true to get behind those decks and watch the whole crowd totally lose it ...... even better if I could have done it dressed.........
I simply could'nt have spent All Hallows Eve in a better way , and now it leaves me praying to celebrate it again in the same fashion next year ........:drink:

Yet another Halloween post... I had posted about Washington DC's annual High Heel Race on 17th Street, NW. Years ago (about five of them), this was my first opportunity to dress how I felt. Every year I come back and have a good time.

This year, I found some really good pictures from a local TV station. There were definitely some really bad costumes that might hurt those with thin skin, but there were some gorgeous girls, too.

Here is a link to the first of four galleries:
http://www.dc50tv.com/community/highheelrace/wdcw-high-heel-race-gallery-1,0,6973656.photogallery

I selected the above gallery because I am picture 17 of 17, which is also attached. (Yes, my nails match my umbrella.) For the record, that I was wearing a nearly backless dress that also turns out to be nearly see-through in the right light. (Eek!) The shoes (which barely show) are cute high heel mary janes. The purse is DKNY (outlet sale). After the race, I made the dress more demure by adding a DKNY full skirt underneath.

I also really like the cute couple in picture 4 of 17 in the first gallery. Cute couples really make a transgendered person feel good.

My other favorite person was picture 9 of 16 in the last gallery:
http://www.dc50tv.com/community/highheelrace/wdcw-high-heel-race-gallery-4,0,7170267.photogallery

I cannot remember this person's name (and we even exchanged real-world names), but we chatted a while. This was a lovely person with incredible grace and style. Good show!

Well halloween started this year...by not really trying to dress up at all. True enough I wore a girls top albeit casual and not a real sexy one, but the pants were non-descript light colored cargo pants and mens shoes. The only Exception? I played with my hair. No makeup whatsoever, no breast forms ( I actuallly popped one or a boytoy I sometimes play with did, and am waiting on the replacements due to arrive today) Even the hair was a five minute ordeal to put it into pigtails and add some halloween hair clips. Other than that, there was absolutely nothing .
My wife Tobie went as a pirate, and we went trick or treating with the kids. In the middl of this a fellow walking the dog stops DEAD in the street as the wife and I are trying to get the kids going toward the correct house and goes " Whoa...I did NOT expect a male voice to come from that hair! You got me!"

Other than that it was uneventful, but there were the usual number of casual looks and double takes.

It's fun to burst people's gender bubble.I used to hate the "ambiguous look" but am discovering it can be interesting to play with peoples minds and keep them guessing.

Hi ,
I appreciate your comments about Halloween and found myself wanting to experiment with a short dress for that special holiday. I'm not as experienced as many are but hope to improve as my confidence builds. I posted my Halloween experience at http://www.crossdressers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=118982&highlight=catina and still hoping for some feedback on my outfit. I think I looked ok but, as mentioned, I'm still working on my presentation. Hugs, Catina

Robbysherry, it was your idea. You said that CVS drugstores ahd 75 percent off sales on Halloween stuff. Like your Sherry mask. I stopped at about 10 drugstores plus Target. Didn't find the girl mask I wanted, but got a great 75 percent off deal on some fishnet hose and a black pretend policeman's hat with built-in blond hair! Yes! So fun.

Unlike some of the ladies here, I have no problems with CD'ing on Halloween. However, since I go out clubbing almost every weekend enfemme, I assume a look on Halloween that's definitely out of my norm, and leaves no doubt that it's a costume! :)

So I finally went out of the house, and didn't stay in a car, went to Portland. Yeah it was Halloween, but I was still REALLY nervous but I didn't puss out this time! :D

I went all out, completely shaved my face and body. Spent all Saturday afternoon doing my hair. From like 3:30 to 7:30 I was in a hairspray haze! :p Wanted it to be REALLY big and curly, think I succeeded! :cheer: Brand new outfit, fishnets, favorite boots, big hair and lots of black shit around my eyes. And my girl surprised me with this cute little sweater she bought that worked perfectly with my outfit. I would've frozen my ass off without it! :p

We walked around Portland (Hawthorne district) for a little while and it was cool. Some people looked at me a bit longer than usual :D No problems at all. I felt better than last time since I had my girl and my best friend with me, I was more at ease. He was visiting for the week. He's only the 2nd person to REALLY see me dressed as Samantha. He treated me exactly the same and it didn't weird him out at all :) He's artistic and open minded person though. He's a photographer and took a bunch of pics with an old school camera in black and white. Still waiting on him developing them, he's poor. So anyway me still being a little nervous I wouldn't always look ahead at people. It was thrilling and a bit overwhelming. At one point my girl wanted to stop and sit for a moment, she was wearing boots too :) But I think she wanted me to stand there and deal and experience what I was doing, she's a smart one. Of course when these 2 girls walk by I couldn't quite make eye contact but I didn't turn away either. I totally missed what they said, think I was afraid to listen :o My girl goes did you hear that? The one says to the other while pointing at you "Cool sexy boots", then she realizes what she's looking at and goes "Wow, that's awesome!" :D

Then we actually went to a party! It was hard, I'm still a bit shy. Hard to be a wallflower when your boots are 5 inch platforms, you've curled & teased your hair about 7 inches skyward and your dressed like a *****! :p It was horrifying and awesome all at the same time! I actually had conversations with people! I never do that alone. I usually have my girl or a friend attached to me at all times at a party! I got complimented a lot, people took pics of me, it was crazy! I need to see some of those pics because mine suck, sorry :( It was an amazing experience! I only wish I had taken better pics, but I was too distracted by all the prep work and actually leaving the house so I didn't take many good ones.

It was the best Halloween as an adult I've ever had! It was such a rush walking down the street dressed up and done up all the way, really thrilling! I had so much fun and everything I can't wait to go out again soon! :)
