At work that is kind of what I am...at least with the four guys I work with.
I think in the last 3 months, since going full time, I've heard my name used by them only 3 or 4 times. Otherwise they never say it. Which gives me kind of a weird feeling, I mean all the time that we spend together working, and that we have all worked together for so many years and that we do have to communicate and all, but I have become something - well kinda like I'm the one who cannot be named.
Sometimes it makes me sad and other times, like this morning, it makes me laugh. It can actually be rather amusing some days. I make them so freaking uncomfortable, I feel it, its all over their faces, and they still can't get their minds around it.
On the brighter side, my boss has been trying to use my name, I've even overheard him refer to me as she a couple times :)
