I would say, "That depends on the rules of the bar". Some bars may overlook the true crossdresser using a woman's restroom and some may already have rules that stipulate, "No matter what, you are required to use the men's restroom". I know if you live in Tacoma, WA. one of the downtown "gay" bars has a strict policy that stipulates the no matter what policy.
I went to this one with a gay friend when I was in guy mode, and there was a crossdresser in there. It through me off because I was expecting her to be in the ladies room and not the men's room. I found out right after that the policy was guys had to use the men's room, even if you were in your female role.
Just make sure you have an idea of the policy or their rule before you enter that bathroom. You probably do not want to ruin the night for your wife if you get kicked out of the bar or are detained for the cops to question you about going in the women's room.
