:cheer: Yay! TAYLOR!!!
Attaboy!
Keep working on getting your body working hon, and they can take that yukky tube away. That must be so uncomfortable.
*strokes his forehead and soothes him*
...shh...breathe...breathe...breathe.... :)
Having been away from this forum for a while, and come back to see this thread, and had a look at some of Taylor's vds on you tube, he sounds one hell of a guy
Positive thoughts and vibes do work, looks like the girls and boys have linked hands around the the world, in bringing Taylor back
COME ON KIDDO YOUVE PROVEN THE DOCS WRONG
more linked arms here in the Yorkshire Dales
Just read that too Zen, thanks for updating though there may be times when they are posted frequently then kind of drop off. Very normal all things considered.
Respirator tubes are a bitch! They are 'scratchy' feeling, like a really bad sore throat. You can't talk around them either and since we all know Taylor loves to talk...it has to be frustrating ;) If you wonder why they haven't removed it yet most likely they are detecting a fluctuation in O2 saturation. Until it hits a steady 96% + (depending on the medical circumstances), most doctors will not remove them. There is also the consideration of ongoing medical treatment so it may have to stay put a little longer. Not a fun thing. Taylor will also most likely not have much for a voice at first since the tube irritates the vocal cords but a whisper can be heard louder than a shout.
There will be ups and downs for Taylor the next coming weeks. Its just the body kind of running around healing one organ, then another, and oh - we need to do some fine tuning on that one...it is a marvel.
No rush. We are all in this for the long haul no matter how long it takes.:hugs:
:cheer: Taylor :cheer:
positive vibes:hugs:
Oh good, soon we'll be able to slap him silly, :slap: so he won't even think about having another coma - just say no to comas Taylor! :heehee:
Now I know he'll make it, just a matter of time.
Has Taylor been to a hospital before?
I've been in the hospital twice for major emergency surgery. From my experience being a patient in a hospital sucks and gives you a healthy fear of getting sick, but once it was over I forgot about all the crappy stuff - I only have vague memories of the pain/crappiness. Yay brain!
As I got healthier and they removed tubes and stuff from me and I could walk around the hospital wing, there came a point near the end where I just wanted to get out of the hospital NOW and the time was getting long.
Btw it's amazing what your body will do to protect itself... I had abdominal surgery and when I'd sneeze I would block it consciously, but once a sneeze snuck up on me and I had a full sneeze (which usually involves involuntarily flexing abdominal muscles), only the sneeze stopped at my upper chest. My subconscious blocked it.
Oh, and if you make him laugh, and he tells you not to make him laugh, DO NOT MAKE HIM LAUGH, but I doubt laugher would cause him physical pain.
And of course Taylor will need help afterwards to regain his strength. Which is why there are people ready to administer some TLC on him
yup this isnt the first time the little fella has stared at death in the face!
im not gonna make him laugh im gonna kick his ass for scareing the crap outta us...and i can guarentee he knows this lolQuote:

i was saying that earlier, if he thinks hes being fussed over now, its nothing compared to what hes gonna get when he gets back hereQuote:
