I picked mine because I couldn't think of anything else. It was the name of very nice and attractive real estate agent that we used some years ago and I just think it is a very feminine sounding name.

I chose Simone as I love all things French, and whilst on holiday there I heard it pronounced several times with that lovely accent they have. It sounded so lovely...just like me really:eek:

My grandfather ,father,and myself all had same first name so they nicknamed me jack i just added the ie to keep it simple

Aubrey was the name of a song by the group Bread. I first heard it at age 13 and the words said something. So Aubrey it has been. As for the last name, it just had a better ring to it then my last name. :daydreaming:

I picked mine about 4am yesterday. It had to be unique but I wasted all my creativity coming up with my male online alias so I searched for fantasy style female names and Kassina was somewhere on the list.

I'm still not too sure about it, but it'll grow on me. In time.

My middle name is Leslie,as it would be a name i am familiar with i just changed the spelling to the female way.my surname starts with a J.so thats how i came up with my name Lesley Jay,real simple.

I found my name on an Irish name website while looking for names for a dog
Being Irish myself I fell in love with the name for myself and not the dog hehe

I picked my name because of a girl I knew in high school. She was so pretty and feminine, and was the first girl I fantasized what it would be like to *be* rather than (who am I kidding--in addition to) have sex with. Also, I find the name itself very feminine.

I originaly chose a name based on where I bought my first 2 dresses. It was either Bonnie or Georgie. My wife chose Georgie but aftera few months I chose Julie. I don't know why but I just love the name

Someone asked me my name in a chat and I instantly replied Jeanna. Didn't have to even think about it!

I chose Eowyn after the Lord of the Rings character who dressd as a man to be able to fight in battle.

I chose Jamsey because a good friend of mine called me that all of the time and I liked it.

It wasn't a straight forward thing. Its new for me and my wife. She actually suggested I have a name before me. I anted a name she could call me in public and not raise eybrows. The name Honey just felt right straight away it sort of 'fit' and I am still getting used to being called by my girl name but I do love it.

i picked mine cuz i'm a strong person and i played the lara croft tomb raider games and i found her to be a strong female. and i really like the name.

I chose Dana because my given name is Dan and I wanted something that showed a connection fo the two. Two sides of the same coin.

i got it down to either Laura or Christina just because I think they suit me, and I played the tomb raider games when I was younger too lol.. ended up picking Christina though and like it.

I have a gg friend who I told about my dressing six months ago.
She was shocked, and then surprised that she found it very sexy.

I read somewhere that you should pick a name that was from your "generation" Amber was a typical name of girls my age and I liked it. And I wanted a cool last name. Basically just made it up and have used it so long now that I am stuck with it.

I'd not thought of how or why before. It just seemed right. To me 'Kaylee' is a *******isation of 'Kayleigh', a Marillion song which introduced the name and 'Bridges' which tells so much, burning or building? Only my subconcious knows at the mo. We will find out later xxx

it was originally christina named after a girl who lived on my street because when i started dressing at 11i looked like her when girlified but last year for some naughty fun with my gf she dressed me as a schoolgirl and we made love and she told me my name is bethany so i kept it.

Hello girls, this is my first post and I am happy to be here. When I first came out I started going to a support group for CD's and the name I had then was Amanda. I thought it was cute because I could say "Hi, I'm Amanda" and it sounded like "I'm a man - duhh". I am now known as Sarah Renee. I chose Sarah because it means Princess and Renee because it means Reborn. I always feel like a princess when I'm all dressed up and by coming out I feel as if I were reborn and starting over. For me it's cause everyone shortens my first name to Miah anyways, hence Mya and Summers well it's from the season when it's nice and beautiful out. And I think it has a nice ring to it..lol
