I picked mine because I couldn't think of anything else. It was the name of very nice and attractive real estate agent that we used some years ago and I just think it is a very feminine sounding name.

I chose Simone as I love all things French, and whilst on holiday there I heard it pronounced several times with that lovely accent they have. It sounded so lovely...just like me really![]()
My grandfather ,father, and myself all had same first name so they nicknamed me jack i just added the ie to keep it simple
Aubrey was the name of a song by the group Bread. I first heard it at age 13 and the words said something. So Aubrey it has been. As for the last name, it just had a better ring to it then my last name.

I picked mine about 4am yesterday. It had to be unique but I wasted all my creativity coming up with my male online alias so I searched for fantasy style female names and Kassina was somewhere on the list.
I'm still not too sure about it, but it'll grow on me. In time.
Good question!
I wanted a Femme name that
matched my male initials, then I
Could use it for mail, E-mail, letters,
Etc...
Best,
Rachel Beth

Being Irish myself I fell in love with the name for myself and not the dog hehe
Excuse me but Leslie is the female version of Leslie or a few more names. One of which is my drab name.
from "thinkbabynames.com"
The girl's name Leslie \l(e)-slie, les-lie\, also used as boy's name Leslie, is pronounced LESS-lee, LEZ-lee. It is of Scottish and Gaelic origin, and its meaning is "holly garden". Also possibly "the gray castle". Place name and name of a prominent Scottish clan, first used as a given name in the 18th century. Used mainly for boys in England and Scotland. American use of Leslie is mainly for girls. The Lezlie spelling preserves the original Scottish pronunciation. Actresses Leslie-Ann Down, Lesley Ann Warren.
Leslie has 9 variant forms: Leslea, Leslee, Lesleigh, Lesley, Lesli, Lesly, Lezlee, Lezley and Lezlie."
Leslie Mary Shy
Remember this:
You do not have to be a man to love a woman, or be a woman to love women's clothes on her or yourself.

I picked my name because of a girl I knew in high school. She was so pretty and feminine, and was the first girl I fantasized what it would be like to *be* rather than (who am I kidding--in addition to) have sex with. Also, I find the name itself very feminine.

It wasn't a straight forward thing. Its new for me and my wife. She actually suggested I have a name before me. I anted a name she could call me in public and not raise eybrows. The name Honey just felt right straight away it sort of 'fit' and I am still getting used to being called by my girl name but I do love it.
