When dress the girls rest room with past times there cool with it as long as you do what they do and try not to look like your a guy try to hang out in there rest room.
I always use the ladies. If out in public I sit like a lady. If I'm in a gay pub or bar it depends on how desperate I am whether I sit or stand; but I always use the ladies even there.
There was one occasion, at Pride last year, when the queue for the ladies in my gay pub meandered to the door out of the pub. Must have been about 20 long. So I swallowed my pride and used the mens. Sometimes its good to have a choice!
I wasn't the only girl though. The next day there was a sign saying only men should use the toilet. There then followed a furious debate (in jest) as to whether I should be allowed to use it or not.
I strut my stuff, I feel so proud,
I need to shout, to scream out loud,
I am Tricia I am she,
I am who I want to be

I have used the womens washrooms but only as the last resort I think
its dangerous ( daddy there,s a man dressed as a women in the washroom)
I try to find unisex
When out, I have resorted to finding a smaller boutique or salon that generally dosen't have a public restroom. Act like you are interested in making some purchases, then ask to use the employees private restroom. I have never been turned down. They don't want to reject or offend a potential customer. Be sure to thank them on your way out. -Erica
Definitely a questioned ive worried about. I guess the fear of being called out and ridiculed. Or worse the police called. Im assuming that it is illegal in most states for men to use the womens restrooms. I know many have done it here with no problem, but always worry about the first. But if not a unisex one it looks like is really only choice!
i use the womens....ummmmm, how on earth could i use the mens looking like this?
When I'm dressed as a girl, I always use the ladies room; and I've never had a problem with anyone.

When I am out enfemme, which is over 90% of the time, I use the ladies. I have never had a problem - knock on wood

There have been a lot of posts about this. When I'm dress en femme, I use the women's room and follow very basic rules:
1. Go in and do my business;
2. Do all shifting and adjusting of my clothes inside the closed stall
that I am using;
3. Pick up my things and wash my hands and leave.
4. I avoid conversations or anything else that would delay me, but
I also don't rush as if I'm "in the wrong place."
I have never had any trouble, but I'm also quite careful to minimize the number of times that I would have to use public restrooms.

The ladies room. They really are lovely you know, not as over the top as in the Saturday Night Live skit (marble, harpists, eunuchs in togas serving champagne) but certainly cleaner and nicer than your average mens room.

Yes unless your disabled you should leave it for someone how can't use the other ones. How would you feel if you need to pee or the other and some one whom could use the ladies room was in there and you could not get in the other bathroom. I think it's very rude like parking in a handy cap parking spot
Just think of it this way if you get arrested you will be doing it as a lady and the police will treat you as such. You may have to be in the men's side of the cell but that fine to. It would be am interesting experience that's for sure.
Did you hurt your head when you knocked? Knock, knock, knock , ouch ,ouch ,ouch!!!!!!!!!

When I was out just wearing my booties I was so tempted (or was that confused) to use the girls room.. truth is I don't get why there is a mens room and womens room.. I used to do maintenance and women would come in while I was in the womens room and not even think twice to ask me to leave or wait for me to leave they would just do their business and leave without even a second thought..
This is what I mean by "every guy can look like a girl from the right angles".. this is one of the first pictures of me dressed up.. very vague look.. almost fem...
I use the ladies' room when i'm out enfemme.
I have some GG's strike up a conversation with me in nightclub toilets as i'm checking my hair and make up.

Guess I'm in the minority here. I would never set foot in the women's rest room. I am genetically a male and I believe that's what they're referring too when they separate the rest rooms, not the clothes that I'm wearing. I am a man and I will only use the men's room or a unisex rest room.
I admit I've never ventured out crossdressed, but if I ever did I would hold it in if I couldn't find a unisex room. If an establishment separates the rest rooms I will comply.
It occurs to me that there are a number of very different scenarios being mentioned here...
In a drag or gay or TG club, it's a good bet that an MtF could use either and nobody would care and there would be absolutely no chance of recrimination...
In a mostly straight club, especially late, I'd think there would be no problem in using the ladies room...(I've done that and had great conversations with young women there...)
In any other place, the mall or a family style restaurant, that's where the confusion or possible trouble can arise. I'm thinking that if you think that you're not perfectly passable or that the staff can read you but still treat you with respect, that the best thing to do would be to look for a staff member of rank (maitre d' or manager or even a security guard) and ask, " Do you mind if I use the ladies room?" My guess is that they would usually say yes. And in that case, you use it with permission!
If permission is denied, and the need was desperate, I think I might ask that employee, then, to escort me to one that I could use safely. You might be escorted to the men's and be chaperoned (to avoid any untoward attacks on you) or you might be escorted to an employees restroom. In that way you show respect for the establishment and make it plain that your intentions are not criminal or underhanded. Who's gonna refuse a customer's use of a bathroom? That's a discrimination lawsuit waiting to happen...
Another good option would to be to use the ladies room in company with a woman friend. That will always make you more passable and less noticed, since it's a very normal thing for women to retreat to the ladies room in groups, eh? And while she's 'watching your back', she's also providing another layer of camouflage.
(Geez! who knew going to the bathroom could be such a philosophically complicated subject?)

You should always use the restroom for the gender you are presenting yourself as. I would never attempt to use the men's restroom while dressed. That would be suicidal where I am from.
