A lot of respondents have used the word submissive but I like to think of it more in terms of passive. While I don't have a French maid's outfit (I'd really like ot find a nice one that fit me properly), I think it's like my wearing babydoll PJs from time to time. When I do, I don't want to feel submissive but do enjoy the feeling of being passive...
The traditional male role is one of being aggressive but I feel that there are times when we want to shed that and just relax, be laid back and let whatever happens happen. I would think that if I were to don such an outfit, it would put me more on equal terms with my better half. But it would also be nice to hear her tell me I had hot looking legs too!
