Katie, I don't think you have to be dominant just have fun with it. The role play fantasy I always had was that I bought the outfit for her but she said it was demeaning but would wear it only If she could doll me up in it first. So it kind of involved her teasing me as she kind of made me slip into all the frilly items. I of course then had to clean while wearing it. In the fantasy she ends up sneaking in some pictures and lets me know their is no way she will ever wear the silly outfit but that I will be wearing it again if I cross her or the pics will be sent out for all of our friends to enjoy.
