The name Lucy just really popped in there without me needing to think about it much. Although I've not got everything ready to dress completely yet, it really felt right. I kept seeing the name everywhere too...
I wasn't thinking it at the time, but I did know a girl while I was at university called Lucy who affected me quite a bit. She had the loveliest curly red hair, and was amazingly cute all round. You could have put wings on her and she'd have made a great fairy!But sadly, very much spoken for too. She was quite strange in a few ways but I enjoyed her company a great deal. Then after a little while she just seemed to vanish into thin air and I never saw her again.
Definitely an unconcious influence I think.
