As I've already told you in a PM, I am soooo happy for you! I wish you the best in this relationship. I also think that you are starting off right. First, you have made peace with yourself - all of yourself. You have integrated the various parts of you into a wonderful, beautiful whole. This is definitely a case of 1 + 1 equaling much more than two - it equals one!
Second, you have made a friend by being honest at the outset. That is a beautiful thing made much more beautiful by her acceptance.
