BTW I had one other occurence happen to me like yours, Cat, and it was from a waiter standing over my right shoulder taking my SO and my orders when he slipped and absent-mindely said something like, "and, what's for you ma'am?" I was en femme sans wig and makeup then, too! OMG I loved it.
