Frederique - I was so sad to read your admission about heels and flats. I don't think that flats disease, known as flatcousis, is contagious or fatal. But I believe it to be treatable. Maybe you could see a shoe therapist. Just don't give up. There are worse conditions a crossdresser could have - like the dreaded pantsitis, which is the preference to wear pants. Or braphobia.
