No experience with health issues but cross dressing and health issues are unrelated.
You mentioned your heart and that you're still in your 40s. No forty year old should have heart issues so... unless you have congenital issues, if you smoke, stop smoking, if you drink, stop drinking, and START exercising. Exercise = elevated heart rate for 30+ minutes continually. Lose weight and get healthy. You can do all of that while cross dressing but if stopping helps you get healthy faster, then by all means stop.
