Yes at one time I did have an issue with the term , it was when I first joined and the person posing the question did make the assumption that it was just a hobby to all of us. I admit my mental state when I first joined wasn't very good , I was barely functioning , my wife was not good about the whole situation so I did feel it was an insult to me and my family to lightly brush it aside as an enjoyable hobby .
OK I do enjoy being a Cder now but it's still not a hobby , it's going to be my lifestyle in a few weeks , possibly the start of transition , lets face it no TS would claim it was just a hobby to them !
