Early on in my journey yes I would have put up with those things. The too small bra, shoes 2 sizes too small. It was a case of whatever I could acquire would have to do.
Now, I know my bra size and shop according. Ditto shoes, dresses, tops, skirts, everything has to fit just so.
As for uncomfortable, ladies generally haven't experienced spending all day in a hot office, no air con, and wearing a business suit. Give me the option of a sleeveless dress any day.
