I looked it up real quickly, and Sara means "princess."
I didn't pick the name for that, though.
I wanted the initials for my femme name to match my male ones, and I was also noodling around with numerology at time. In the end, I came up with Sara (no "H") for my first name and the odd spelling of "Lin" for my middle one.
For whatever reason, the name Sara just feels right to me - even if I don't usually feel like I'm very "princess-y."
